I'm sorry to say we found Barney over the wend. He'd been washed into the sea and drowned and ended up at Walney island off Barrow. A kind local man had found him. So thanks to everyone- friends, family and strangers for sharing, liking my posts and generally looking out for him. It's the worst possible end but at least we know what happened.
