- GOOD
And I am actually glad it took this long - they will have had it hanging over them all this time. Deservedly so.
The judge also said: " "The stealing of a dog from its owner often feels like a family member has been stolen"
So maybe some progress will happen eventually. Hope little Maximus is doing well. x - 2017-08-27 23:28 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London

- Same area as Rafiki the springer went missing too, although no firm evidence haas stolen. At least they have one of the thieves in hospital.
- 2015-12-20 10:45 clumsetter10
- Replying to a comment earlier on him possibly wandering off. Regrettably the thieves were actually seen leaving the house with Maximus so although a fab idea, sadly not the case. Maximus's family now have Lucy the Springer pups details and they hope to contact her owner and perhaps try and work together as possibly connected.

- I had a message on facebook this morning on the help find maximus page from a lady who had messaged the owner of the little springer pup Lucy that was stolen. A silver Vectra was spotted in the area by their local pub so the two could be related? I think she was going to speak to the police.

- This is such sad news. This seems to be happening a lot recently in our area. I wonder if there is a link between who took Rafiki and who has now stolen Maximus? Praying the police find both dogs safe and well 😞
- 2015-12-19 20:07 beck1409
- I have just spoken to owner on the phone. The police have traced the car which was used in the theft which has resulted in the police following the car and the suspects crashing the car. The passenger is in hospital. Maximus was not in the car but had been. The police suspect he was stolen to order and has been passed on already.

- DL poster updated to Claygate
- 2015-12-19 18:49 beck1409
- Can confirm stolen from Claygate, not Esher! Ipads stolen but turned off and sim cards discarded so unfortunately not traceable with find my IPhone.
- 2015-12-19 18:44 Skywalker99
- Is 'find my iPad' enabled on the iPads also stolen?

- Posted on Dog Lost Surrey facebook page - Red Alert I understand he has been stolen from Claygate. Praying he is soon found safe and sound. J. x
- 2015-12-19 18:04 csquaredb
- Was the door left open after the break-in? If so, it's possible he has wandered off and could be hiding somewhere in the vicinity. Please make sure the surrounding area is well searched, just in case.
- 2015-12-19 17:57 Red Alert
- Could you please clarify if stolen from Claygate (taken from DL Surrey page) or Esher?
- 2015-12-19 17:36 Lin Iddon
- Gino, thanks for doing this. Will a DL co-ordinator be in touch with owner? It's not my dog, breeder asked me to register Maximus. i can only imagine the owners are frantic. Police are involved.
