- Possible sighting of dog on a Gypsey site. My source says Pom tied up along with a Yorkie. One of their other dogs bit a lady so they have moved on before police arrived, but could be heading towards Bury or Thetford. Source has phoned the owner of CRUZ so I am hoping that the owner has given this information to police.
- 2016-02-14 09:11 Shelagh
- Still no info from video or stills. Following up any poms seen or on selling sites. Keep sharing guys.
- 2016-02-08 17:59 Doglover
- Have telephoned owner and told him about 98361 who appeared in a residential building in London today.

- On Cruz's facebook page is a photo the police have released of the man who stole him (sadly only a back shot) and also a man that walked past the thief on his way into Tesco's they are trying to trace if anybody wishes to check it out. x

- Thanks me n my girl I forward to owners. Handed out flyers around hornchurch as was suggested Cruz had been seen there with a guy trying to " sell" him.Hornchurch high street didn't seem to be right type of place,if I'm honest. Guess we have to try in different part of Hornchurch tomorrow

- Whilst searching through the lost I found a photo of a clipped pom, perhaps Cruz could have been clipped to disguise him. See lost ID 90658
- 2016-01-05 14:51 Shelagh
- Designated officer is now dealing with case. In meantime owners, doglost and others are continuing posteringg and chasing up a number of poms for sale on free ads.
- 2015-12-29 15:08 Shelagh
- I'm not sure about that skywalker99. Police know now what has occurred and who was responsible. I leave them to sort it out. But suffice to say a minor cud b involved so you can't share anything!. Owners are giving out flers this evening around town centre and Tesco he was taken from. Let's hope it gives them some info
- 2015-12-29 09:13 Skywalker99
- Data protection act doesn't apply here..... Lostbox must know ho gave then the info to update their Facebook post.Last edited: 2015-12-29 09:14:49 by Skywalker99

- 2015-12-28 16:52 Skywalker99
- So it would appear no one told the deputy store manager to keep stumm....., lostbox have now removed the wording from the post but his comment still stands othe post and needs removing too

- We have a little problem here. DogLost and owners were told by police NOT to release any footage or details until police gave the go ahead. We abided by this so as not to compromise the police's work. Someone else has released this and shared it. Whilst I am all for this many times, in this case it could be detrimental and for that reason DogLost abided by the law/police request. Have suggested owner speak to police and tell them what has happened so it can be worked with. The description may or may not be accurate but police are in possession of the CCTV.
- 2015-12-28 10:42 Shelagh
- OK thanks skywalker99. I have told owners to get that removed as that is not true description .
- 2015-12-28 10:09 Skywalker99

- The limes farm sightings it seems are of a pom who regularly strays. So we have more or less ruled them out. The Collier road sighting is active, and is a pom alone crossing road,Collier row heading towards post office.

- Bumping for those sightings.

- 2015-12-26 22:42 Shelagh
- Sighting 7 pm last night and 10 am this morning a dog like Cruz seen in Hainault. Despite people trawling area most of today no sign of a lost dog.
- 2015-12-26 08:24 Shelagh
- Owner has got lot of publicity, radio and media. Chasing sightings of poms daily but still no confirmed sightings of Cruz since he was taken.Police will not be viewing CCTV until after 3rd January! Meanwhile posters and flyers are being given out.

- You are doing so well, please keep it up. Wish we could release CCTV, but maybe there is a reason we can't get that. We have to keep on searching, thank you everyone. x

- Has Havering council and Dog Warden been contacted. It would be out of hours contact no. Sadly Havering DW doesn't post lost/ found dogs anywhere that I know of and out of hours council contacts weren't brilliant, don't know what they are like now.

- Many owners simply are not aware of the dangers sadly, but this sweet dog has been stolen and we need to get him home. He is neutered so cannot be bred from - this must be circulated. It makes such a big differenec. Please share everywhere that he cannot be bred from and that the thieves were caught on CCTV. Let's hope we can publicise that video. Thanks.
I understand helpers are on the case. Please share this little one far and wide and yes, we definitely need this one in the local papers. 1) It will show people what can happen if you leave your dog outside a shop and 2) it will make this baby famous. Right now we concentrate on getting Cruz home as owners are already distraught. Many owners are still too trusting of the general public, although I say the word "general" loosely here. - 2015-12-20 15:47 *
