We have now raised just over £3,000 and that's amazing but we've had nothing back so the admin group have been talking and we will add another £750 to make it up to £4,000 only until tomorrow lunchtime. Then the amount will go back to what we have collected as a group.

You have to talk. How can you possibly live with yourself knowing there's 14,000 people wanting answers that will never stop looking for the scum that did this.

Someone knows something. Speak up. Do the right thing. It will be treated in the strictest of confidence. You will never be named. We just want to know who did this.

You speak to us either by phone or private message and we will investigate what you've told us. We will need absolute proof that the information given is true. We have details that only you and us will know that have never been put out there. Small details. If you know who did it then you will know these details.

Good Evening everyone, over the next coming weeks we would like Troya to be put firmly back into the public eye again. We need her fresh in everyone's minds and for local people to remember where they were on the last day that Troya was seen, Wednesday 23rd December 2015. It was discovered that she was gone on the morning of Thursday 24th December and she was to remain firmly out of sight, despite our frantic attempts to locate her, until that fateful day when her lifeless body was pulled out of the canal on Monday 18th of January 2016.

SOMEONE close by in Romiley knows who has done this and we will never give up fighting and searching. Many thousands of us have discussed and debated over the different scenarios of what could have happened to sweet Troya. We have moved mountains in our search to get justice including involving her local MP, speaking to criminologists, trawling CCTV, covering Romiley in posters, raising reward money and getting her Post Mortem done. Then who could ever forget the day when we brought the Crimewatch website down with our emails!

Troya's case has appeared on the TV, featured in newspapers and covered social media including her trending as number one on Facebook at one point. It is now that we need you to do this again for Troya, to jog people's memory's and to keep a watchful eye out. We need the traffic increased to her page and showing in newsfeeds again and we need you to keep your eyes peeled for our updates. If you see her post anywhere on your facebook travels then please like it and comment, that will make it feature in peoples news feeds more. If anyone can do this, it is our group! Team Troya is truly a force to be reckoned with, a force which simply will not stand for the terrible abuse of animals and who want to see laws and attitudes towards animals CHANGED.

Chops Owen, Frannie Santos-Mawdsley, Jayne Dendle and I need every single one of you to share this post and to also share to another few pages, be it dog pages or local pages. could not all doglost people put in a couple of pounds each to go towards the reward for info?? the bigger the reward the less friendship between the people who did this, money talks a lot louder than friendship to the sort of people that would do this sort of things, big rewards get a lot more publicity as well

Although I consider myself a fairly spiritual person, I do not fully believe in Karma, so I hope Troya's Army catches up with the culprits beforehand to punish them to the fullest extent (not necessarily of the law because they didn't respect it either, and I hope this case serves to increase the severity of legal punishment for crime against the defenceless).

Good evening everyone. You may have seen some of the beautiful flowers and candles that have been placed on the canal bank near to where Troya was found. Chops is going down there tomorrow to lay some flowers from herself and also from Murphy's Army on behalf of me and the team.

It occurred to me that a lot of you are like me, nowhere near to Romiley so I gave Interflora a ring. They are happy to deliver flowers to the canal bank for anyone who is interested in paying their respects with flowers. The number to ring if you would like to help cover the banks with flowers for Troya is 0333 003 3577. This has to be done over the phone as you will need to quote 'Romiley canal bank flowers for Troya'. The prices do start at £30 so maybe people could club together with others or we can set up an account there and every time it reaches £30 then they can make a bunch up for her?

With regards towards the investigations into Troya's death, we have been liaising with the police who are awaiting the results of the CCTV images that are being viewed on Monday. We do understand that resources are limited with the police due to public funding but after speaking to several officers today they have assured me that we are following investigations in line with what they would themselves be doing. We have also consulted several specialists in criminology and sociology who were able to build up a profile of those involved, very interesting listening it made! Everyone on here is doing a great job in our quest to seek out these culprits and we will NOT stop until we know who they are. I've just read the article about Troya in the Manchester Evening News (Link put on by Charlie and Sooty)..I wish I hadn't now..I'm absolutely in bits :-(...My heart goes out to Anthony and his family...If I knew who had done this to Troya..An beautiful innocent dog ..that they took from her home...I would be doing time.. Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

"Just after 4pm i watched Anthony's dad get undressed and swim in to the canal in Romiley. He pulled a lifeless body to the side and then she was pulled on to the bank.
A carrier bag had been tied round her head and held on with curtain wire. A washing line was attached to her collar.
Troya had been killed in the most disgusting and sickening of ways. The RSPCA have attended. Her body is now evidence in a crime so I'm asking you not to assume or guess what has or hasn't happened.
The above are facts, seen by me. Troya will have a post mortem so the family can try and find out any further information regarding her death.
Please don't make this post a witch hunt. It needs to be a celebration of her life x I haven't tagged Anthony because he will need time to deal with this and won't want his phone going off so please respect their wishes for now. x

The owner of the dog that looks similar to Troya has confirmed that she wasn't in the area of the first two possible sightings so I don't know if they could still be her or not. Exact locations of original unconfirmed sightings are as follows... One of the "sightings" (the first one, in fact) was from the north end of the Heythrop estate, which is North East of Enstone village, near Chipping Norton. Second was of a "large dog, looks like a mastiff, brindled, white chest, short ears" walking on the side of the road between Steeple Aston and Barford St John. That's about all I have. Both of those sightings are some distance from Upper Heyford, but were twenty-four hours earlier.

so glad you said that Lisa...Chips are easy to re- reg in the uk from a foreign country .Owner just needs the paperwork/info for the chip.Also the person whO reg'd her on here (Maxine W) to put the chip no in on registration page(UPDATE DOG DETAILS...only visable to Doglost officials) and if she is picked up and her chip scanned by a HALO scanner,then automaticaly picks up this page and alerts Doglost HO

Hi Lisa, I know our conversation has moved on on Facebook but so everyone can see, I don't have anything more specific than between Banbury and Chipping Norton for the other sightings but the person that reported it to me is now in the Doglost Oxfordshire Fb group as well as Troya's group so hopefully will be able to clarify further. Thanks Debby, the dog in Upper Heyford is not Troya, her owner has come forward to let you all know, she lives in that area & regulaarly walks her girl off lead - the info in on the FB group for Doglost Oxfordshire if you want to see the full thread - thank you for clarifying - so if I understand correctly there have been more than one sightings - some in Upper Heyford area & some in the area between Chipping Norton and Banbury so the latter could still be a possible sighting - I just wasnt sure if someone was describing Upper Heyford as between Chipping Norton and Banbury so wanted to be sure! Do you know any more specific location between Banbury & Chipping Norton please Debby? x

Lisa, don't know if helps or not but the person that informed me said that there had been several sightings over a period of days so it may be that the Upper Heyford sighting is this dog but the other sightings aren't...

An owner of a similar dog in Upper Heyford has come forward, so it seems this may be a false alarm, please can anyone give confirmation if this is the same or different reported possible sighting to the one that states between Chipping Norton & Banbury x

POSSIBLE SIGHTING....I have Troya as my profile picture and was notified by someone involved in German Shepherd Rescue of the following possible sighting....Has also been put on Troya's group and Owner has been tagged..."A dog looking very like this one, described as brindled, three tones of grey, white chest, short ears turned inwards) has been seen in Northern Oxfordshire, between Banbury and Chipping Norton. Could it be the same one? Last report was possibly near Upper Heyford last weekend when a large bull mastiff type dog was reported near the old airfield." May be worth alerting local helpers? Thanks

This was posted on Help find Troya facebook page on 3/1......Just an update people on troyas whereabouts, there's been nothing much to go off at this moment in time she's too hot not to be seen and I have a strong feeling she's being kept behind closed doors and out of sight at this moment in time. However she will get seen at some point and we will bring her home it's just a matter of time. I just want to thank everybody for all your support its been massive and I appreciate all your help thanks

I live in Shrewsbury. Have shared and will certainly keep my eyes peeled for this dog. Hope she is soon found.

Just seen this posted on her fb page.............There was a possible sighting of a dog matching Troya's description in Shrewsbury, Shropshire just before Christmas. The dog was sighted at the local Tesco's with an Eastern European male who looked uncomfortable that he was being watched by the lady who spotted him and the dog. Please can anyone local to this area put a call out to local groups and friends. Better still, print out some posters and put them up locally. If anyone sees a dog looking like Troya then please do your best to get a picture of the dog and note down any registration numbers of cars which may be connected, plus a description of the person with the dog. Any genuine Presa Canario owner will no doubt be delighted to assure you that their dog is NOT Troya, some of them are expecting to be stopped! Please share, share,
