I have Max's chip number but can't seem to add it to his profile, can admin please contact me?
Wonderous
I have three Springers, if I lost one I do not know what I would do without them. I get so upset reading about any lost Springer (Springers really being close to my heart)so when I read posts like this I wonder how I would cope. Some dogs are SO loved their owners cannot bear to be without them, other dogs don't know what love is. Its not fair is it. So wishing Max is home soon, hang in there he has to be somewhere :-(
Esther
I so agree JulieH.

Just wishing and hoping for good news x x

An eloquent and thoughtful crosspost, very worthy of sharing from Max's owner-
There are also some more photos of Max which will help to identify when comparing other found ESS here-

Amanda Lambert‎ to Lets get Max home!
20 hrs ·

Day 175: Week 25

As I sat at work the other day watching what can only be described as a mini flood come out of the sky, it took me back to the beginning of this ordeal, when in the first weeks of searching after Max disappeared, I took the girls out to look for him. We got out of the car and it was dry, we walked for 5 minutes until we couldn't see my car any more and then the heavens opened (and I mean OPENED) it was like getting into the bath with my clothes on - even my underwear was soaked instantly. It was a true test of character, I was over tired, emotional, and everything hurt from walking solidly for nearly 3 weeks at that point! I dropped to my knees, I cried, I sobbed, I screamed.

It was in this moment of watching the rain through the window, I realised how far we have come in 6 months, as a group of people, a family and me personally so for every cloud I try to see the silver lining - or the rainbow, whichever. There isn't a day this doesn't affect me, but it is scar you learn to live with and keep going! What other choice do we have?!

Today I have been wondering how long we will have to endure the 'not knowing', will it always be this way for us now or will we be lucky like so many others have been recently, then I saw Troya's family, they have made it onto Crimewatch after the brutal and unnecessary killing of such a gorgeous and unique girl. Stolen on Christmas Eve, found later after being drowned. They want to catch the monster that caused pain to their girl, then I realised, we have hope, he may get free again from whoever has him or be seen by someone and returned, the best Troya's family have is the hope of a true closure by getting ‪#‎JusticeforTroya‬.

Elvis is finally home after 9 long months, his family kept going and the culprit is now hopefully being charged after being reported to the police. - congratulations.

I have no new leads or information to go on, not one sighting since he magically disappeared after going through a hedge on Christmas morning, but will keep going and helping as many as I can on my journey to find our gent. Everyone that has lost or had their dog stolen, isn't against each other in a race to find their pets, they are becoming friends with each other and aiding them along their journeys, some of our journeys will end in the same way, some will continue together for a while and some won't get the news they wanted but can get closure, whatever this 'journey' throws at me, I will keep going.

Another journey that is about to start is Helen Reed's to Yulin, as part of Maxs team for a while now I just wanted to say - stay safe lady, you are a beautiful person inside and out and I wish you the best of luck and what strength I have left to cope with the burden you are about to endure, go get them sweetie xx

Max: you can't stay hidden forever my boy, together we are a team and I need you!

I know it's a long shot, but male springer spaniel found in Kildare, followed some people home. Details can be found on ISPCA site or contact Andrea Clark on 0872504593 or email clarkeandie@gmail.com They have a 5.1/2 year old similar dog, and feel sure this is older. Good Luck

Just a little update - The owners have gone above and beyond in trying to get her beloved dog back- she has worked tirelessly to raise her profile and spread the word. No sighting have been proved to be definite so far however a sighting has come in today and Amanda is on site now so please if you have anymore toes left to cross cross them for this lovely family in the hope that the sighting today could be their dog.Come on Max xxx

The one I saw on FB was Spotted:Redditch & now says owner has been found.

did he go missing on a walk or from home? I think Jonathan's advice below is sound....dogs usually don't return in an area they know because something or someone has stopped them. hope Max is found soon and safe.
LisaMell
Massive support from the community and huge searches conducted over weekend. Various sightings that possibly could be Max but nothing confirmed.Owner is doing an incredible job of raising awareness and so deserves to be reunited with Max. Their is a facebook page with details on.

This on facebook, found southwest (precise area not given) looks quite muddy, difficult to see markings. Edit: apparently this dog has been reunited. Sorry it wasn't Max :-(

Do any of the dog trackers cover this area? X
Jonathan
My advice would be to search an area of around 200 metres out from where you last saw your boy to check that he is not snagged on something or has fallen into a drain/manhole mudbowl/ditch. My two springers range out up to 200 to 300 yards before they return. I hope that you are successful best of luck.

I really hope Max will soon be home. Have shared to Pup's page and put in a fast turn Tc for him. Will also add him to a few other pages and groups as well as tweet him. xx

Any news yet? I still feel he could be caught up somewhere especially if he went chasing after something, could you try and get a tracker dog ? Or hire someone with a drone to help find him. Praying you find him safe, I have 3 spaniels so I know what they can be like running after things. Good luck.x
springerlover
Hi wishing you every success in finding Max,unfortunately I'm not local but have two springers of my own so do feel for you, one of mine got caught by her tail in a ditch and another got caught on barbed wire luckily both times near me. They are such busy dogs and do tend to get led astray, come on Max time to go home.
Wonderous
So upsetting to not know where he is, I can only imagine how distressing it is for you. So hoping you find him safe and well very soon.
JulieH
Fingers crossed for you in your search x
Amanda6039
Hi guys, still no sign of our gorgeous boy we have now done 3 solid days of none stop walking and looking from first light till gone 23.00 at night. we have been over every field farm and woodland and have taken our other dogs to get into harder area but to no avail yet! we will not give up until we find him and either bring him home safe or have closure - he is the most adorable boy and such a gentleman - our hearts are breaking but the support we are having is amazing and very humbling! Thank you all once again and keep looking!
Springles
A few weeks ago a springer went missing a few miles away from us, he was found 5 days later caught up in a fence by his leg. I'm sure you have searched tirelessly for him but if he's caught up somewhere he may have gone quiet, so is there any dense woodland or hedges he could be stuck in? I really hope you find him and he's ok. Wishing you a good outcome.xx
