- Fantastic news!! I read on owner's FB that some kids had taken Arthur thinking he was abandoned. Would be interested to read if they were aware of the huge social media campaign before they handed him to dog warden.
NEVER leave dogs tied up. It only takes a few second to cause hours or a lifetime of heartache. Stay safe Arthur xxLast edited: 2015-12-29 18:19:34 by Julie Dogs - 2015-12-29 17:16 Riverlady
- Fab news......agree Owl....we have a local Mental Health Trust that recommends dogs for service users as companion ship, routine, exercise promotes wellbeing. Folks are given special permission to have them in flats.

- Wonderful news! Just for the record re goldencaesar's tweets below, it's not at all rare for a collie to be an assistance dog, and they don't all come via charities. It's not unknown for dogs already within the household to develop assistance skills such as warning of seizures or hypoglycemia.

- Hi from what I have read on FB & understand Arthur is more of a 'Companion' type, very special doggy to a member of the family. Don't think he wears a high viz working jacket etc.
All just probably trying to highlight his vital importance & get him & them reunited asap. This is only my personal opinion, I may be totally wrong.
There is a rumour on FB tonight involving dog warden Crawley. Can anyone assist with that ?
All crossed Arthur is safe & back home soon x - 2015-12-28 20:47 Riverlady

@DoglostUK What evidence of being an assistance dog please? Which charity trained the dog?
asked to post on dogs page or email admin.
reply...

@DoglostUK It would be very rare for this breed and if it is, why aren't the charity it came from involved? - 2015-12-28 20:30 KarenR
- Any news yet ? X

- Assist dogs are allowed in places like this as well as dogs for the blind. Could Arthur be an Assist dog.
- 2015-12-28 12:05 digbysmum
- Pilot's mum - I don't think dogs are allowed in the Belfry. Perhaps Arthur was tied up outside, and possibly taken. I am sure the police must have been informed. Do hope Arthur is soon found. x
