There is going to be a dog show at the Horley Anderson Centre on Sunday 8th run by Horley Lions. I will be taking posters of any local missing dogs but if owners can turn up and distribute flyers, there will be lots of local people as well as some from further afield.

when our dog briar went missing, also a staff!, our posters kept being taken down in the smallfield area, we just kept putting them back up!! im gonna put posters up near local gypsy camp tommorrow am. just keep positive xxx

Thank you to everyone who has sent best wishes & good luck Jasmine & I are still very distressed but overwhelmed by peoples generous help. We have today contacted The Surrey Mirrow/Horley post who are coming to interview us tomorrow and have promised to put the story on the front page. we have posted our local area vets within a 10 mile radius some pet shops we have notified the kennel club, pet log, dog wardens, rspca, battersea dogs home, post office horley, dustmen horley, police reigate, animal protection trust, some pubs local to horley. hope this helps please keep active thank you regards amanda & Jasmine

My EBT has just been found by the police, because the police station had a DogLost poster up in their canteen. I went and spoke directly with the main branch RSPCA. An inspector told me the name (in confidence) of a dodgy guy dealing in EBTs in the area and the police in that area, when informed DIRECTLY (the log is hopeless) were brilliant. Four days later they were able to phone me up. The police lady was so chuffed at finding Charlie during an investigation - "I looked at that poster every day" she said "And we were lucky". I don't call that luck - I call that dedication once given the info they needed. So good luck and make sure the individual stations have a picture.

Will email / fax various vets, rescue and boarding kennels etc. Also have family in Edenbridge so will ask them as at kennels if can poster / leaflet as there is a travellers site.

Also found this for owner: Enquire if your dog has been handed in to the Police, and log a lost dog report tel: 0845 6070999. Although the Council have responsibility for dealing with stray dogs, Crawley Police still take in stray dogs which are brought into the Enquiry office, and may be holding it prior to contacting us.
