I am so deeply sorry to report that poor Toby has been found deceased on the railway lines today . His owners tried so hard to find him and my thoughts are with them.

Unfortunately Toby's owners has heard that the dog sighted in Tadcaster wasn't Toby but has been caught and reunited with her owners

Bumping for a Possible SIGHTING of Toby in TADCASTER

We had a report of a possible sighting ib Tadcaster. We went net the people who had seen him and looked for about two hours. Went back this morning but still nothing. I will be sure to let you know as soon as anything happens. Best wishes Tim

Hi Hollieberry , Toby's owner said he doesn't know the area he went missing in .
I mentioned to them that you had voiced concerns about the nearby railway lines and they said they have tried to check along the trackside as thoroughly as possible but that it is quite well fenced off there now . They have also checked with the police that no incidents were reported.
I have advised them to contact the company that delivered the take away meal at the time Toby went missing and ask them to question the person that delivered the meal as they may have seen him

I can not believe no one has seen Toby ,I wonder if he knows the area he is lost in as he with friends visiting. Apparently his owners live in Rawcliff which is the other side of the river .

Sadly there has been no news of Toby since he went missing.His owners have contacted relevant authorities including the microchip company.
Tobys owner were visiting a relative and Toby must have slipped out of the door unnoticed when a take away food order arrived.
Toby has never run off before and doesn't know the area very well . His owners think he may have tried to make his way home but this would have been hampered as they were on the wrong side of the river which was flooded .
Hoping for some news of Toby very soon

Poppleton road is near to railway lines I am not sure if they are fenced off or not as I left Acomb a few years ago .
