- I was one of the group who found these dogs. As far as i'm aware, they are in a swindon based kennel. The rspca was called only as it was new years day and there was no dog warden on duty. No other option was available. The inspector who took the dogs was from maidenhead, again because he was the only one on duty that day due to it being a bank holiday. I hope this helps and i do hope these dogs find a loving home

- I saw reports on FB that the two dogs found in SP4 were taken to the RSPCA in Maidenhead. I find this a bit alarming if the dogs have not been reported correctly within the county that they were found and not given to the kennels that take in Wilts dogs.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
