Thanks for update.on the microchip details when scanned through petlog will hold a mobile no on their records if owners keep their chip details up to date. Vets will not hand out these details to anyone and it is usual for them to take a dog from any finder and will try to find the owner and reunite. This is usually the safer option for the dog to get back to its rightful owner. Xx

She was claimed from the vets at 7pm yesterday. Owner was staying with family locally and she ran off while out for a walk in the woods. Happy ending.

I would like to put out a plea for owners to put a mobile number on collar disc so that even if away from home they can be contacted. In spite of putting this dog on local Facebook page owner only discovered that she had been found from gossip in the local pub that evening!
