- Doglost and it`s volunteers are the best of the best, everything that`s done is for the love of our beloved K9 friends, I dread to think where we would all be if they weren't around when we needed a helping hand. It would be lovely if we were able to see a reunited photo at some point, but here`s wishing all the best to the whole family, 2 and 4 legged, after such an awful start to 2016.

- lovely message from owners friend...
Hello,
My name is Colette and I live in Derbyshire.
I would like to thank you for your help when my good friends and beloved
Biscuit were involved in a serious car accident on Sunday.
I would also Like to Thank the family who are looking after Biscuit so
if you could pass my details to them please.
I travelled to Oxford to visit Biscuits parents who are recovering from
serious injuries and they are so grateful to you and the foster family.
I have puppy sat Biscuit and love her dearly. I can't thank you
enough for your help. My friend came out of her second surgery to hear
the news that Biscuit was alive. THANK YOU.
I was in tears too to hear that something positive had happened amidst
such a terrible event.

- Hope this little girl won't need much in the way of surgery, poor thing! So nice of the finder to offer to look after her for the time being, that home comfort will help her enormously. Well done to everyone involved, I hope all the injured parties will soon be home and this little girl will be back with her family.

- Abi-mama you refer to the dog as Saffron? How do you know her name?
- 2016-01-04 19:40 Mollychops
- I didn't have time to post earlier, but she was rubbing her mouth and on inspection has injured it. I took her into my vets, and they could see her jaw damaged and teeth missing, which would have been caused by impact. She will need some surgery ,but tonight she is warm and content and eating OK with helper Caroline, local to my vets.

- Please peeps make sure your dogs chip is register, most vets, charities & implanters don't bother, I have registered loads of chips that others have implanted :-( It doesn't cost anything for the implanter to register the chip

- Mollychops i would be very surprised if the police didnt know which hosps the injured were taken to. The desk officer at station might be a first port of call. Hope this helps. Glad dog is safe and hope the owner and all others make a swift recovery. My best wishes to them.x

- So glad they've been found safe. Hope contacts are found...if the dogs insured they will probably pay for the dog to be home boarded while owner is hospitalised. Fingers crossed all works out today. Well done all involved x

- Yes he is fine. The occupants of the three cars involved were apparently taken to 3 different hospitals. Bit of a needle and haystack scenario. If anyone hears more regarding owners, please let them know he is safe. I so hope they are all OK .
- 2016-01-04 08:20 Unknown
- Ooooh Mollychops!!!! That's BRILLIANT NEWS!!! Is the dog ok?
- 2016-01-04 08:20 LindaT
- What an awful thing, thank goodness the dog is safe and well, hopefully he/she can be reunited with a family member or friend very soon, hope there is no need for it to stay at a dog`s home for any length of time. I hope the family members are not seriously hurt too.

- Message received this morning: Trish, when we had a dog involved in an accident down here. They found the dog in the foot-well of a car that didn't belong to anyone he knew by a road worker. Hope this helps xx
- 2016-01-04 08:13 Mollychops
- Ive located the dog. The police have rung me to say he has been picked up by a kind gentleman . Ive spoken with him.The dog is safe and I will sort out owners or next of kin , Ive not been having much luck so far. I will see if the dog can be taken to Cheltenham dogs home in the meantime

- Bo ..the 2 dogs are unconnected. This cockerpoo sounds like it was heading from the crash site towards Stow on the Wold from Northleach. Crash was at 4,30pm. It is likely to stay near the A429 looking for its owners (accident happened between Yanworth and Northleach)..a fast dangerous road. The other dog was found already dead way earlier and is a terrier.Last edited: 2016-01-04 07:05:59 by Jot cotswolds
