Come on everyone.... Only seems to be me posting on this dog. Any ideas or suggestions would be very helpful. Have posted on Facebook for Jackie to look in the church ground and cemetery where her late father was laid to rest, just in case Troy has made his way there. Also article in this paper. Jackie, check out found Staffie on Pets located found in DA12. Says black and white, but dark brindle could be construed as black. REF on site DA0053410. Found in Gravesend. X

Jackie, I have posted a message on Facebook for you. I think now is the time for Media coverage. Phone local paper in Erith to do a heartfelt story about your Dad and how Troy is your only lasting memory of him. The more coverage Troy gets the more it will jog people's minds and hopefully you will get some news. Rufus just been reunited and the coverage of him was everywhere... Saw brindle Staffie on petalocated. Found in Chelmsley Wood, Winchester Drive, in right area for where Troy went missing. Rang Jackie Nd asked her to check this one out. X

You also need to telephone the Highways Agency to make sure he has not been run over. Can you confirm that his chip details are registered. X

Jackie, I telephoned South Eastern railways. The guy tried to contact Erith Station, but it is not manned. He said if a dog had been hit or seen near the tracks, then Ll customer service officers would get an email, which they have not at the moment. But you need to contact Network Rail who looks after the tracks to confirm no dog being hit. Xxx

Oh Jackie. I have just looked on the map for Peareswood Road and I see there is a railway running along the bottom of it. Have you phoned the Rail company to see if any dogs have been hit lately...... Please do this straight away to eliminate this.also ask if any dogs hVe been found on the line, what kennels they were taken to. Also have you checked all the green areas around you as well. Xxx

Just checked route from DA8 to SE9 it is only 6 miles. Dogs have been known to travel a lot further afield than that, so he could be trying to make his way home.
Also list as missing with all Vets in area, just in case microchip is not registered. Send all a photo of Troy. X

there been any sightings of him? If not he. Old have been picked up by someone and if he is not reported as found. This is classed as Theft by Finding.
Please everyone who reads this list, please share Nd let us find Troy for Jackie and her late Dad.
Admin can we get Riverlady onto this as she does Twitter.
Jackie, also has the area been searched thoroughly ie parks, woods, rivers. Could he have got into someone,s shed/barn etc. posters have to go up in area where he went missing. Schools, libraries, lampposts. Keep thinking positive. Keep phoning dog warden each day, and all animal rescues in area.
Sorry I am unable to physically help as I live in Essex, but I will help with suggestions as much as I can.
Post on this site, the exact area and road etc where he went missing from so people have a better idea of where to look. Xxx hopefully, his microchip was registered, so you need to advise Petlog and microchip company that he is missing. X

He was with a family friend in DA8 when he went missing ... she was dog sitting and he has been to her house before and no problems.... Just want my boy back... My dad wil be going mad in heaven lol xx

i think it would be to far as we live in SE9 and Troy doesn't do the cold wet or windy weather well lol.... Dog warden in Bexley and Dartford have been contacted... will check out the pet sell sites and where he went missing don't think there were travellers

Would he have tried to make his way back to where your late Dad lived. You need to put lots of posters around everywhere you can. Check on all animal rescue sites. Check on pet selling sites. Are there any Travellers in your area, check there as well. Report to Dog Warden that he is missing.
