- Just to add a little more info without being too detailed at this distressing time, it is thought that Fergie was hit by a large vehicle on the M40, most likely at night & it is likely that Fergie's death would have been instant & that the driver wouldn't have been aware of this x

- Donna Ansell Thompson, lovely Fergie's mom has just been in touch, she's asked me to let you all know that she has some incredibly sad news to share
Today whilst out searching, she received a call from a person who had sadly found a body part, Donna & her husband then went to the area they were directed to & distressingly found remains which they believe belongs to Fergie :'(
As you can all imagine Donna & her husband are incredibly upset by this discovery & will need some time to compose themselves before they can respond to messages personally, however they have been completely overwhelmed with how so many people have come forward to help, in so many different ways & have asked that I pass my thanks to every single one of you - she has told me that she never realised how many warm & loving people there are out there - 2016-01-09 20:15 Lisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central
- Fergies owner has had a call with a possible sighting on Thursday, heading towards Chacombe x

- Fergie is still missing, no new reported sightings - only one report of the sighting in Howard Road so whilst we shouldnt rule it out, this may not have been Fergie, Howard Road/Causeway is a busy area & I would have expected more people to have reported seeing him if the dog seen was running stray x
