Brilliant news! Welcome home gorgeous Finn. Stay safe and close now lovely lad. Well done to the family for keeping him safe xxxx

So pleased Finn has been found. I understand a Chippenham family had taken him in and were loving him. I'd have done the same whilst reporting it to local rescue homes, police, wardens etc. and to many, they don't know what to do next other than take the dog in.

Word of the doglost website needs to be spread, if I see any local dog missing/found I'll tweet and copy in the local rag; just to get http://www.doglost.co.uk/ out there.

A big thanks to the Chippenham family that took Finn in, and I expect it was sad for them when they had to part.

DogLostNicky - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
Am I right in thinking the extra image photos are Finn? If so found 97497 won't be a match & I'm think it is full tail. Just seems similar area to where Dan was found? X

just to confirm the picture of the dogs in the farmers guardian were NOT of the missing dogs. poster image above is of a similar dog and the extra imagine photo is actually of finn the quality is poor as its stills taken from a video. but this is the only pictures that are actually finnLast edited: 2016-01-14 19:18:09 by zen

Hi Claire, I live in the the area that Dan was found and walk my dog at Plock Court. I'm just wondering if they want to walk Dan around to see if he could lead them to Finn? I was there today and wondering why on earth he would be there and why in his own? Wouldn't the dogs stay together? I wonder if Dan escaped ? I would gladly walk around at night with the owner but not in my own. I work in a property on a farm a few minutes from there. Even if it was only after work for a couple of hours?
Hollieberry
Poor Finn he could be anywhere in the country have alerts been sent to the area's that Dan was found ?
ClaireC
Jot you were only trying to help it happens at times that incorrect info is supplied. X
Jot cotswolds
Have just got home and emailed admin' re the photo fiasco. So annoyed..and so sorry. The FG thread should have corrected the earlier info someone had put on there saying the dog on the left of their pic was actually Finn...but it was left "live " in the information thread and uncorrected. Hugely annoying and no help to the dog.
DogLostJan -North West and Police Liaison Coordinator
Please share far and wide for Finn he could be anywhere in the country.Photo most like Finn is back on X
DogLostJan -North West and Police Liaison Coordinator
Thank you Claire for confirming the original one was the correct one not the one in farmers guardian.Any posts that have gone out with the other one on needs to be rectified by those who posted xxxx
DogLostClaire Gresty - Area Co-ordinator & Police Liaison - North West
I have uploaded my old photo again, as I explained in my comments below - this is the one that most resembles Finn. Can I please stress, the one in the Farmers Guardian is NOT Finn. The photo in the Farmers Guardian is NOT the correct one. This was used purely as an example of 2 Springer Spaniels.

I communicate with owners, I have not just taken a guess of how he may look. I have been in contact with Charlie, he has sent me this photo - this is the nearest he can find that looks like him.
Again - please refresh the page to view.

I have added an extra image - this is Finn on CCTV. Although not very clear, you can get an idea of his markings.

Thank you x
Helenty

correct pic now up..well done!
Jot cotswolds
Just emailed it...the dog has very distinctive nose markings
ClaireC
Jot I will advise admin but if youve got it saved you can also email it into admin@doglost.co.uk and they may possibly be able to substitute it.Last edited: 2016-01-14 09:49:09 by ClaireC
Jot cotswolds
Just save the pic off the Farmers Guardian facebook page and replace the photo which is on here with it..an admin' needs to do it. The actual dog's face is nothing like the one shown above. I have just clicked and saved it..took 2 seconds.. but the doglost contact page is just a form where you cannot attach pics. Have just used twitter to tweet the photo to @doglostukLast edited: 2016-01-14 09:48:02 by Jot cotswolds

Why can't the correct photo be added? Finn does not look like the dog shown here. Just copy the pic from the Farmers Guardian facebook page..finn is the dog on the left in the 2-dog pic on there apparently. He has distinctive mottling around his nose

Wren's owner, missing from Bolton (95607) contacted me tonight and has asked me to help Dan and Finn's owner as he is a friend.

I have contacted Charlie the owner, and will be updating above soon. He is going to send me photo's of both dogs, or dogs very similar, as the ones listed are not like the ones missing.

I will update as soon as possible xx
