- Newark and Sherwood dog wardens dos can all dogs and even deceased dogs and cats. This incident has highlighted that not ALL scanners are accurate in reading certain microchips. pLease don't jump to conclusions that all dog wardens do not scan. Dogslost site was also checked on Thursday and Friday also, posted in the local buy and sell sites as a found dog and NSDC Facebook page and website. If anyone can suggest any further information or actions that we can take to find an owner I would be pleased to hear them. Local vets where the dogs are found are also checked. Mansfield area dog warden was also informed.

- I am so so pleased to see this little oldie home. Stay safe now Rae. XxxxxTerrible that the Dog Warden did not scan her. What is the point of making Microchips law from April, if even the Dog Warden did not scan. Terrible. Send the bill, if any, from the Rescue Kennels to the Dog Warden. - There is a dog on Petslocated looks very much like Rae. Found in N7 Finsbury Park but please look as both dogs look the same. Found on 7 January I think.

- There is an elderly female staffy on the Lincolnshire Rescue Kennels fb page - found in Mansfield on 7.01.2016 - looks very much like this girl but can't be sure as photo shows her right flank rather than her left. It says she has no chip though.....With Newark and Sherwood council. https://m.facebook.com/LincolnshireRescueKennels

- You need to put posters anywhere and everywhere. Schools, shops, libraries, lampposts. Put leaflets through doors. So we know where Rae went missing from? Was it home, garden, park etc? Any open fields nearby where she could be hiding. Are searches being done. You need as much media coverage as is possible.
