- I know you may not look here again Sylvia but if you do please be assured that I so often think of your beautiful little boy Kasper, his photo is adorable. My heart goes out to you after a year of reporting him lost. I didn't know him but I will never forget him x

- That discovery is true Skywalker. Unfortunately my beloved boy is gone and I'm still picking up the pieces trying to understand how/why he died. I'm left with no answers. I only hope he didn't suffer and can't help to think about it. I try not to but...

- Hmmm...I read on the Pet Detectives Facebook page (they were helping Kasper's owners search) that Kasper is not the first dog this dogsitter has lost.....Last edited: 2016-02-09 17:33:45 by Skywalker99

- Yes, I think you're right Skywalker. We will know when the time is right. I'm going to share this with my son and daughter, the fact that it would be a different kind of love than Kasper's because they are all different...Thank you for that...I can only repeat that the level of care and compassion shown to us by the dogsitter has been totally unacceptable; totally shocking, and I would strongly advise against anyone using her services.
- 2016-02-03 14:37 Skywalker99
- You will know when the time is right to get a new dog. It can never replace Kasper because it can never be Kasper, but you can get just as much joy, love and happiness from another dog because like people they are all different. Take it easy and judge when the time is right, I understand how anger clouds things. Has the dogsitter apologised?
- 2016-02-03 13:23 Sylvia
- That's true. Thank you so much Esther.xx

- Hi Sylvia, I am sure you will know when the time is right for you and your family it is obviously a really hard time just now. Because our dogs are so special to the people who come on here you can be sure that lots of people will be thinking of you now.
- 2016-02-02 10:15 Sylvia
- Hi Esther,
You're comments are never intrusive. We talked about how many people get another dog to deal with the loss. My kids are not keen on it at the moment. They say that no dog will ever replace Kasper and that they don't want another dog.I suppose we just need more time. They are also very angry and let down because Kasper did not die of illness but while under the care of someone else so it makes it harder- the emotions that they are dealing with. I understand what you are saying and in my heart I haven't ruled it out but I'm not sure when. I'm just not sure. My son will come back from univeristy in May and I think he will need time to get used to the house without Kasper. He's had to grieve on his own from abroad. I appreciate your help and your good intentions because this its all still difficult right now. xx - 2016-02-01 18:50 Esther
- Hi Sylvia, probably most of us here have lost precious dog friends, they can never be replaced and the pain is unbearable and yes there is still a food bowl down here as well. For some they will never have another dog because of the pain of parting. Personally I have found to bring a rescue dog in to my home as soon as I could helped me. The original dog is not being replaced and never could be and of course I still miss her terribly but the silence of an empty house is so sad, and there are so many dogs that would so love to be in a home like yours that is so obviously caring. Please forgive me if you think my comments are intrusive, they are said with the best of intentions
- 2016-02-01 11:34 Sylvia
- Hi everyone, I just want everyone to know that I'm hanging in there. It's very hard and my family does not like how the house still feels so empty. Doglover, it's good to know that you understand how I'm feeling. I suppose you all do. I'm so sorry about Penny especially since she was so special like Kaspser. I think Skywalker is right about getting a signed agreement as to what would be done if your dog went missing. Perhaps something like that would have saved Kasper's life..
- 2016-01-28 19:34 Skywalker99
- You are sounding stronger Sylvia. I think there is a lesson in this story for all dog owners when vetting prospective dog sitters...ask them what steps they would take if the dog went missing and if possible get that written into a signed agreement. This dog sitter sounds very callous.....just texting when Kasper went missing rather than ringing,
- 2016-01-28 18:43 Doglover
- Sylvia, my beloved Penny had to be put to sleep two Christmases ago due to a massive aggressive tumour that showed no symptoms until it was too late. She was 11 years old and I still have her food bowl down as I just cannot move it. She was a special dog just like your beloved Kasper. Tuppance is still with me and keeps me. Ompany, but it,s not the same. Xxxx

- Thank you billybob and nic. My husband is feeling better as we are undergoing more tests. I am remembering all the good times with our beautiful Kasper but the house feels so empty. His food and water bowls are still full from when I was hoping we would find him and I realize I must put them away now.. but I guess I'm just not ready to do that. Thank you for your caring words.xx
- 2016-01-28 15:30 nic
- What a sad story, i'm so sorry for the loss of your dearly loved dog. Hoping your husband is getting better. Stay strong. x
- 2016-01-27 21:03 billybob
- I agree with Skywalker and Janiejewel and their kind true words. I keep checking here to see how you are. So sorry your husband was taken ill, you are all going through so much. This 'pet sitter' has no conscience whatsoever for the consequences of her actions. Kasper is beautiful and my heart goes out to you all and the distress you are going through. He was loved and spoilt and happy, remember he always knew that. Thinking of you all.
- 2016-01-27 20:26 Unknown
- Sylvia. I am so sorry your husband has had a stroke. Losing kasper so suddenly could not have helped. As for what you say about the walker, it is an absolute disgrace how you were treated when Kasper went missing. Kasper is now in the care of the Angels where he is safe. Sending your husband healing vibes for his full recovery. ((((HUGS)))) to you both
- 2016-01-27 19:56 Skywalker99
- That's ok. It will get better, what will make it hard is that you find it difficult to rationalise Kasper's death. Please read this blog post by the owner of Quigley (dog id 35889), he went missing in similar circumstances to Kasper http://www.dorriolds.com/2015/09/a-feeling-of-loss-a-feeling-of-gain/ . Remember the good times and that he was loved and happy.
- 2016-01-27 18:01 Sylvia
- Thank you Skywalker. You've been so supportive and I greatly appreciate your kind words. Also Janiejewel, thank you. Thank you to everyone sending me support. It's what's getting me through these difficult days.xx
- 2016-01-27 17:45 Skywalker99
- Sylvia, I am sorry to hear about your husband and I hope he has recovered. I would be very angry if I had trusted my pet with someone and this had happened....however I would urge you to remember the happy times, it will hurt for a long time but you would be surprised how much getting another pet can help heal that hurt.
- 2016-01-27 17:02 Sylvia
- Our precious Kasper was trusted and left with a dog sitter, Charlotte Fricker, www.charley's-barking-angels.co.uk. over the holidays while me and my family spent Christmas with my elderly father. Since January 9th, the day she texted us that he went missing, I have been very disappointed in the service and efforts she made to help find him. She never even met me to show me the exact location he went missing. She put up the three posters of Kasper which I had given her in her own village of Biddenham while I myself put up 100 in the Bedford, Bromham, and Kempston area . In fact, she was only prepared to help with a search this past Saturday late afternoon while she'd be walking other dogs. It was only with the help of DogLost that people who I'd never even met before gave up their Saturday morning and showed up at 10:00 a.m. to help conduct a search for Kasper. This incident has had a tremendous impact on my family, especially on my husband who had a seizure the morning of the search and which therefore made it impossible for my family to carry on the search with the volunteers. The ongoing frustration and shock of how we were left with the task has prompted me to post this. Kasper's body was found the day after the search, off the road adjacent to the trail. It was only me and my family left to deal with that as well. I strongly advise against anyone using the services of Charley's Angels as the level of care and compassion shown to me and my family was totally unacceptable.
- 2016-01-27 08:30 Unknown
- lindsay. As I have stated below I am a volunteer dog walker fore the Cinnamon Trust, and there is absolutely no way I would dream of just walking a dog without it`s lead on. The majority of us ARE responsible. The other volunteers I know are responsible too. And the Trust has very strict rules for dog walkers which myself and the other volunteers follow Also their other rule is that you dont do anything without the owners permissionm which I think is right. And I dont. (HUG) to Sylvia Ps You need THREE references to be a volunteer for the Trust, which of course I haveLast edited: 2016-01-27 08:47:16

- Sylvia, i'm very sorry to hear about Kasper :( Have heard of a few dogs not making it home again after being out with dog walkers... sending hugs to you and your family at this very sad time xx

- Hi Sylvia. So very sorry to hear about Kasper. It may have been he died of natural causes, as the vet said he was not hit by a car or injured by another animal. That does not heal your pain I know. Tell your son he would not have thought you had abandoned him. He knew how much you loved him. Dogs have a kind of esp, and can sense things about humans. So dont worry about that. As for the dog sitter, I dont think she should have let him off the lead. I am a volunteer dog walker for the Cinnamon Trust. And you have to have three refere nces , and also you are told not to take the dogs of their leads which I never do The only time I take off the lead is when the dog likes to play "Fetch" in a secure place with gate closed away from traffic. This is with the owner permission I am sure the sitter didn`t mean to cause harm to Kasper, but was irresponsible I think; Nightie, night Kasper, sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge with the other "Rainbow " RIP+ God Blessx A~~~Candle~~~burns for Jasper. Run freex(HUG) One day when the time is right you will meet Kasper at the bridge, when the time is right
Ps I sometimes see dog owners walking their dogs, not just by busy roads, but walking across them without their leads on. Makes me cringe. Last edited: 2016-01-26 20:13:05 - 2016-01-26 19:55 Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
- God Bless Kasper, thoughts are with your family xxxx
Doglover, I have just read the poem below, it's beautiful, the tears are flowing again xxxx - 2016-01-26 16:28 Doglover
- Sylvia, my heart goes out to you and your family RIP sweet Kasper. This will make you cry but is so true:
I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep, I could see that you were crying, you found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It,s me, I haven,t left you, I,m well, I,m fine, I,m here"
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea. You were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, your arms were getting sore. I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.
I was with you at my grave today, you tend it with such care, but I want to re-assure you that I,m not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house as you fumbled for your key, I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "It,s me"
You looked so very tired and sank into a chair, I tried so hard to let you know that I was standing there.
It,s possible for me to be so near you everyday, to say to you with certainty, I never went away.
You sat there very quietly then smiled, I think you knew, in the stillness of the evening I was very close to you.
The day is over and I smile and watch you yawning and say "Goodnight, God Bless" I will see you in the morning.
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I,lol rush across to greet you and we,lol stand side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see, Be Patient, Live your journey out, then come home to be with me.

I am so very, very sorry, and my thoughts are with you and your family at this distressing time. Kasper knew he was loved, and you will always remember the happy times you shared together. Run free at the bridge, dear Kasper xxx

- Sylvia, I am so sorry for you and your family. Losing a dog is so very painful what ever the circumstances. I have worked with all sorts of animals and had dogs all my life. I am sure that animals have souls and one day you will be reunited, Kasper will always be be part of your family. If you don't know Rainbow Bridge, look it up, it has helped me in the recent past.

- I appreciate all the support but am hurting deeply. It was not his time to go. He was only coming up to four years old and was very attached to his family. He was not ready. He was so full of life and very spoiled/loved by his family. Very happy always. It was not his time to go.xxLast edited: 2016-01-26 15:13:24 by Sylvia

- Sending you all big hugs. I have heard that animals may just take themselves off when their time to go to Rainbow Bridge has come. As he was found a little way off from the walk, maybe he knew that he was ready to go. That may not help, but it may help if you can see that it was just his time to say goodbye rather than anything happened because...
I'm sure he knew you loved him. Grieve, but as the pain lessens, remember the happy times. xxx

- So sorry. You trust a dog sitter to be super responsible, but sometimes they are not. Perhaps little Kasper just died, and it would have happened anyway. Sadly, you will always wonder. But he knows you loved him. There's no blame attached in his mind, I'm sure.

- what a tragedy so sorry. we have just returned from a rare break, partly cos I miss my 5 rescue dogs. 4 days away is enough. BUT OUR PETSITTER KNOWS OUR DOGS DO NOT LEAVE THE PREMISES. if you do entrust your petsitter - family or friend - to take your dog/s for walks perhaps its best not to let them off the lead. 22 December locally a similar little darling like kasper was lost when his minder let him off lead - so of course in a strange area he vanished - maybe heading for home wherever that was. fortunately he was found safe and scared nearby 3 miles away on Christmas eve.

- So sorry to hear about Kasper Sylvia, not the news I was expecting to hear at all, I have dogs, my dogs are my life, I feel your pain its hearbreaking our furbabies are a big part of the family and I wouldn't trust anyone with my furbabies they only go to stay with my parents. Was the sitter based in the Bedford area? I am concerned and feel people should be aware of who the sitter was to prevent anyone elses beloved furbabies being left in his or her hands. - Oh Sylvia, what heartbreaking news. You did the best you could for Kasper. You couldn't have anticipated this. Spending time with an elderly parent is very important.
Please be assured that animals don't think like humans. They live in the moment, not looking ahead or back. He will have been happy doing whatever he was up to at the time. He wouldn't have thought at all about abandonment. He certainly would have known that he was loved.Last edited: 2016-01-24 20:57:20 by Veronica - 2016-01-24 20:51 billybob

- To all the nice people who have helped in the search for Kasper:
Today a lady called me to tell me she had found Kasper's body on the side of the road on a slope that leads down to a ditch. It was in the vicinity of the trail he was on when he went missing. As I was still in Bedford, I was able to retrieve his body myself. The vet could only tell us that he was not hit by a car and not attacked by another animal. Aside from being puzzled, we are all shocked and grieving.
We had left Kasper in the care of a dog sitter while we were overseas spending Christmas with my elderly father. We returned home to a nightmare of trying to find his whereabouts and now we are all devastated and suffering a great loss.
We only just returned home from Bedford so I want to briefly thank those who helped my family, offered support, and shared Kasper's details with their friends. If anyone happens to see one of his posters up, would you kindly remove it. I would appreciate it.
My 14 year old is concerned that he might have thought we had abandoned him. If anyone has some comforting advice, I could surely use it.Last edited: 2016-01-27 10:45:54 by Sylvia - 2016-01-24 19:48 Louise54

- Folly, the owner lives one and half hours away so it is very difficult for her to get there. Such a shame the search was unsucessful. Possibly picked up and taken unless he could have got further afield? x
- 2016-01-24 09:41 Skywalker99
- Folly, the owner has not stated because they do not live there, kids have school, people have jobs, they may want to but not everyone has the luxury if time to spend how they choose. Kasper had been with the dog sitter for three weeks before he went missing.
- 2016-01-23 22:47 Folly
- There is a male Bichon on the Dogs Trust Newbury. May be worth following this lead. Good luck.
I am not clear why the owner has not stayed at the location to search for Kasper? - 2016-01-23 11:51 Reynard

- I have only just seen this, but reading through the posts it looks as if the Leigh dog needs to be viewed. It sounds as though they have a small white dog which looks like Kasper but have not themselves recognised it as a bichon and so have told Sylvia "no bichons here".
Has it really been checked out properly?
Does the Ouse Valley trail have Rangers, litter pickers, cycling, conservation or rambling groups who can be contacted?

- Hi Louise, thank you so much! Yes that is my number so please text me. It is not the gate opposite Bromham mill. If you are coming from Bedford on Bromham road, headed towards the mill, it is BEFORE the squiggly bridge. On the left, there is an area on the side of the road where you can park your car (not very big) or you can drive in towards the gate. The coordinates are 52.144601, -0.521022. Again, thank you.

- Hi Sylvia, will be there for 10am. Just let me know where we are meeting. Is it the gate opposite bromham Mill. I won't bring my dog as we will get on better without him interfering, he'll want to stop and sniff every blade of grass. Is that your phone number on the poster, if so I can tx you so you have mine in case anything changes in the morning.

- Sylvia try and establish a time to search so that you can contact Doglost admin and give them enough time to put the meeting up on Kaspers page so that any one free to look will be aware. Don't forget to take posters with you to hand out to anyone you see. They don't have to be full size I understand some people manage to get four to s sheet and cut them to size.
- 2016-01-22 12:01 Sylvia
- Louise, the dog sitter can only do 3:30 but I tend to think that the morning would be better. Are you still able to do tomorrow morning? If so, what time are you available, at your convenience? We can set a tentative time if you're still able to do so?
- 2016-01-22 11:57 Sylvia
- That's o.k.Please don't apologize for being helpful. So it wasn't a bichon?
- 2016-01-22 11:15 Mallory'smum
- Sylvia sorry I just saw the below picture on Facebook last night and thought it looked similar-does not state breed.
- 2016-01-22 11:12 Sylvia
- Mallory, I just got off the phone with Leigh Dogs home but they have not had a bichon in. Are yo sure it was Leigh? Thanks, Sylvia

- MALLORY'S MUM, do you know which Leigh dogs home it is, there are several? Nina, there is water along the trail but it's hard to get to, especially for little Kasper who doesn't like exploring through tall grass.
- 2016-01-22 11:02 Sylvia
- The comment I just previously posted was from yesterday. I was so distraught I forgot to hit the add comment button. I have contacted the council and they said that if they had found Kasper on the side of the road that they would have scanned him. I will try again.
- 2016-01-22 10:57 Sylvia
- That's so strange that he would not call out Hollieberry. Kasper cries when he cant get a tennis ball from under a couch. I've just asked the dog sitter. I also spoke with Nina to see if we can arrange a search on Saturday throught the help of Doglost. She says they can post it. Skywalker, I'm not sure how busy the trail gets but when I've been out there there have been few people. Nevertheless I've talked to them and they have seen Kaspers poster on the entrance of the gate.
- 2016-01-22 09:39 Nina
- Sykvia I think what Skywalker99 is saying about the road and contacting the council highways is valid. I know its the last thing you want to think about but to be honest you have to cover all angles. The other thing when I googled where Kasper is missing the area seems to have a comination of water and railways is that correct. With the restrictions that you have in the miles you have to cover to get to where Kasper is missing have you managed to search these area or make any enquireies.
- 2016-01-22 08:53 Mallory'smum
- There has been one handed in to the dreaded Leigh Dogs home-please take a look just in case...
- 2016-01-22 08:16 Skywalker99
- The a428 is close by, have you contacted local council and highways to make sure he hasn't come to harm on the roads?
- 2016-01-21 21:54 Sylvia
- Thank you so much Louise. I'll get back with you tomorrow as soon as possible to see what time is best
- 2016-01-21 19:37 Louise54
- Saturday morning would be better for me Sylvia as I have my granddaughter coming to stay in the afternoon.
- 2016-01-21 19:28 Hollieberry
- I think my Springer is not a full shilling Sylvia he will make sure he gets my attention if he wants something but if he gets caught in bushes or locked in the garage which he does quite often he just goes silent. I hope you get your much loved pet back home soon.
- 2016-01-21 19:23 Sylvia
- Thank you so much Louise, I will keep you posted. I'm thinking about Saturday morning. I don't know what's better, Saturday morning or afternoon.

- Happy to meet up and help with the search. I have a Bichion and posted missing Kasper on a Bichion Facebook group. Live in the area so happy to help all I can
- 2016-01-21 19:00 Skywalker99
- How busy us the trail, is it worth handed ng out leaflets to walkers and sticking them under windscreen wipers? If he us insured insurance may cover costs if using someone like animaksearch.co.UK to help. You should put him on Alfie's lost dogs website too.
- 2016-01-21 18:16 Nina
- Sylvia would the dog sitter help you plan a search if so email doglost HQ and ask if they would post date and time on Kaspers listing
- 2016-01-21 18:06 Hollieberry
- I have noticed with my dogs especially my Springer that if they get locked in somewhere or caught in bushes they go silent even when I know they must have heard me calling their name.
- 2016-01-21 17:22 Skywalker99
- If you wanted people to help you look Doglost would help you publicise this, give the helpline a ring so people could be aware and could join in the search if they were free, no,it doesn't make sense.
- 2016-01-21 16:43 Nina
- does he respond to a sqeeky toy perhaps take one with you.
- 2016-01-21 16:41 Sylvia
- I'm giving you information that my dog sitter provided. I never take him into trails, only on sidewalks.
- 2016-01-21 16:37 Sylvia
- Skywalker, I will go again on Saturday. I don't know who to ask to come with me. I will try to go tomorrow but I'm not sure I can get away because of my daughter but if you're talking about a blackberry bush I didn't see any of that. I didn't see anything with thorns. There was tall grass that was flattened into puffy little sections but my husband and I walked through that. Also Kaspie doesn't like to get burrs on him so he stays away from that, according to his sitter. It's pretty baron out there. It's the ouse valley trail. it just doesn't make sense. do walkers go through there and there are signs of Kasper posted but no sightings. Would he cry if he heard me calling? I would think so.
- 2016-01-21 16:21 Sylvia
- Yes Nina, petlog has his information. Thank you.
- 2016-01-21 15:28 Nina
- Sylvia I am assuming that you have contacted the micro chip company and if you have an insurance on him to let them know that Kasper is missing.
- 2016-01-21 13:43 Skywalker99
- Sounds like you have pepole searching, I was just concerned that as you lived so far away no-one was really looking. is anyone keeping a log of where has been searched? Also, is there any dense undergrowth e.g. brambles he could have got trapped in? it might be worthwhile getting a large group of people together to search the areaLast edited: 2016-01-21 13:43:57 by Skywalker99

- Nina, he is on facebook and twitter but I am going to redo everything and update. And yes, I need all the help I can get. I just called more animal rescue centres..Thank you.
- 2016-01-21 10:46 Nina
- Sylvia have you done of thought about putting Kasper on twitter or facebook I don't use them myself or I would have offered. I believe you live one and half hours away from where Kasper is missing from so you need as much help as possible.Last edited: 2016-01-21 10:48:10 by Nina

- Thank you for your support Nina. I will try the sorting offices and the schools and taxis.
Skywalker, I have searched the trail myself as many times as I can by myself and then with my husband and daughter. Also, there have been some very nice rescuers in the are that have searched the trail as well. Do you mean that I should get a large group of people together to search the area? - 2016-01-20 19:55 Skywalker99
- So I would guess the dog sitter was someone you know and trust, and is presumably upset to have lost him?please get his details onto those Facebook pages, have you thought of trying to get a search organised?
- 2016-01-20 19:26 Nina
- Sylvia we spoke earlier today hope it helped. don't forget to get posters into schools, taxi firms, pet shops, dog trimmers, vets and Royal Mail sorting offices so that postmen can keep a look out.Last edited: 2016-01-20 19:39:32 by Nina

- Skywalker, I just signed the petition. I've put up posters at shops, gas stations, churches, village hall, parks car washes, and lamp posts. The problem is that I am one and a half hour away from where he went missing and I can't get up there until Friday. It's horrible to be so far away where he might be. I'm seeing if the dog sitter can do the wee thing. He was with her for almost three weeks before he went missing and he knows the village right by because we lived there with him for two years. We moved from there this past May. I think our add is coming out in the paper this Sunday. I'm not thinking straight and forgot about radio stations. I will do it. Thank you so much... I greatly appreciate everybody and I'm trying to keep positive.

- Sylvia, I would leave something with your scent as that is his home smell. Something soaked in your wee is good. I have no idea if it is too late or not. You need to make him famous, post to as many local facebook pages as you can, also check gumtree preloved and localselling sites on facebook in case someone tries to sell him. Ask Doglost for scenting advice, and contact local press and radio.
and if you think you spot him on a selling site I would try and find out more about the dog first because contacting seller and saying 'that's my stolen dog' is (imo) likely to make them not give you information.
Make sure you have postered all the local villages. If it is possible to put posters in shops/post offices/churches/local notice boards do this as well as lamp posts and telegraph poles, and maybe flyers through doors?Last edited: 2016-01-20 15:22:42 by Skywalker99 - 2016-01-20 14:29 Sylvia
- Thank you Mallory'smum. I inquired but yes he does look a bit like a puppy. I've asked for more info and pics.
Skywalker99, thank you. You mentioned a few sites I haven't tried yet. And the dog sitter said she left patches of familiar scent. Is it too late to try this again?
- 2016-01-20 10:55 Skywalker99
- you need lots of posters up, but also put onto facebook sites . Has anything with a familiar scent been left where he went missing?
- 2016-01-20 10:53 Mallory'smum
- One on Scumtree states puppy but you never know https://www.gumtree.com/p/dogs/male-bichon-frise-puppy/1148270624

- We are offering a REWARD for his safe return. Please if anyone has him, our family is distraught. It was not his family who lost him. We love him and take very good care of him.
- 2016-01-20 10:34 Sylvia
- Thank you again Veronica but it wasn't him. The bichon at Birkenhead was not chipped and Kasper is only going to be four years old. I'm not giving up hope though.
- 2016-01-19 19:11 Veronica
- Bichon at Birkenhead kennels. Don't know how old Kasper is but this one's 10 years plus.

- We are leaning towards the idea that he may have been stolen. Maybe I am wrong and he is still out in the fields but is it possible that he has been wandering around and nobody has spotted him? He has never gone near the water because he doesn't like getting into the burrs and he is frightened of the water. About half way up the trail there is a little asphalt walkway with a railing that leads up to the road, and this is above the area where he disappeared. Cars park there and from that point you can see the field, the people, and their dogs. He could have been nabbed and then driven away. It's very possible so please be on the lookout anywhere. I'm so worried about his wellbeing because he is very fragile and doesn't like the cold. He is also afraid of aggressive children. I am also afraid he will be abandoned as he is neutered and can't be used for breeding. Please please help me find him. I am grateful for all of you. This is just a possibility. Maybe he really is wandering about but it's getting colder..

- Thanks - its not Bromham mill then as that's over the bridge on the right . We were down there this morning walking ours - but no luck seeing him. This walk goes right through to Kempston - will put info on Facebook - I have friends in Kempston as well as Bromham. Hope someone spots him soon
- 2016-01-12 13:26 sharon anderson
- Sued, it is the area on the left hand side as you approach the bridge from Bedford. I only know this because I met the lady looking for him today. I hope he is found soon, its heartbreaking.
- 2016-01-12 13:04 Sued
- I live in Bromham - can I have a more specific area this boy was lost from . The Mill is one side of the river and goes into a large park. The other side of the river goes from Bromham to Gt Denham and through to Kempston. I will then know where best to look - thanks - hopefully he will be found soon X
