- The dog on Newark site A6420 was found 'before' xmas, so cant be the missing one......
- 2016-02-01 22:08 jack
- This evening on the Newark dog warden site there is a staffordshire terrier that could possibly be Davids, it is number A6420, this staffy is a lot thinner but she would be thinner by now, i have emailed them and David will call them first thing in the morning. He is sure it is her but may be wishful as he is desperate to find her. Leg markings are the same, same white socks. I had already emailed newark dog wardens with the poster and had no response so not sure.
- 2016-01-29 01:33 jack
- the staffordshire terrier found in Gainsborough was a white male, not ours, hope they find the owner.
- 2016-01-28 18:16 Janey
- Good luck, keep us posted please.

- A staffordshire has been found in Gainsborough at a parish church and taken to a vet, this is the only details i have from Pages Pet rescue face book page, i have asked for more information, male, female, colour.
- 2016-01-26 23:20 jack
- Hi Janey, Yes it will be me in the van, a blue one, you may also see cars in the area regulary as friends are also looking, I am searching all over this area as she was sighted at Heapham, Harpswell and last of all Springthorpe. Its is difficult searching as i am aware i cannot tramp across farmers fields, everyone has been very kind. She is okay with other dogs, I have a male staffie also and he is missing her. Thank you for your kind offer it would be very helpful. Many thanks David.

- Hello, I'm at Southview farm at Heapham. I have a little female staffie myself. I really feel for you. I haven't seen your girl anywhere and I walk the fields around here everyday, 3 times a day. I thought there was a missing doggy as I've seen a van everyday and I guessed it was looking for a dog, is this you? Is your girl ok with other dogs, I don't want to frighten her away, if she is near here. I shall keep looking for her but if you want to walk our fields please call and I'll be happy to help

- Thanks for the info Jack. In the past I have suggested postering schools and offer reward towards school funds, poster into Royal Mail sorting offices so that post mean can keep an eye out and giving posters to local taxi companies, I know you are working hard and I hope it all pays off and you get your girl back.

- Hi Nina, I received information pack emailed to me from Alison, have sent posters to all Lincolnshire vets, rescue kennels. Posters sent out to all businesses, farms especially in hemswell, kirton, heapham, springthorpe, sturgate. Posters are also being put up in these villages, farms where we are allowed.
Have emailed dog wardens on the list I received and have also sent them posters.
Next to post out posters to are villages further out than sighted, upton, kexby,Willingham. I have left food down in last seen place but unsure if she has eaten it or other animal.

- Have you had scenting advice? did you leave something with a familiar scent where she went missing?
- 2016-01-22 19:29 Skywalker99
- You need to visit the rescues if you can, weekly as a minimum, as they may not tie up your description with of the dog. If she has been picked up as a stray you have seven days to claim her. Have you had the doglost advice sheets? If you are unsure what to do ring the helpline.
- 2016-01-22 19:25 Nina
- Jack could you bring us doglost people up to date with all you have done to get your dog home ie; postering, contacting, emailing.Last edited: 2016-01-22 19:26:33 by Nina

- Sorry to see that your dog is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (97342)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
