- Wonderful news. It`s a good chance Mog Mogs has been ,locked in somewhere as he seemed starving Cats can live without food for a week or two, but not water, and can become quite poorly if they haven`t had a drink for a day or so It is just the way their bodies function. This is why it is very important to check ALL outbuildings if your cat has gone AWOL. Stay safe now Nog Mogs:-) Some cats who appear not to be drinking much will get their quota if they are being fed "Wet" cat food.Last edited: 2016-01-21 13:05:26

- Presume all sheds, garages etc were searched? You seem to have gone down all the avenues. Could he have "Hitched a lift" somewhere? As we know cats are very curious, and he may have jumped into a vehicle? I know he is neutered but did he have a previous owsner before you And is trying to find it? Holpe he is home soon. Paws xd.

- Not nice to mention I know but did you contact the Highways in case he had been involved in an rta? Does anyone know if the council always check for a microchip? As he is neutered may not be too far away. (My neighbours cat went awol for a week or so,. He was found quite near to his home being fed by someone. This is quite common) Put some tuna in his dish, and softly call his name; shske some treats too. The best time for this is night or early morning. Put something with his scent on such as his blanket/bedding, and place in a clean container along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. Wipe his scent on all your garden fences (I nside, and out), and gates too. Try this; open a TIN of cat food with door open, as the sound of the olpener, and smell of food may help him come home. Put "Lost" posters through doors, and ask around Not sure if you keep him overnight, as I do my cats. It is safer because I believe the majority of cats being involved in an rta is in the early hours, though they are not all fatal thankfullyLast edited: 2016-01-16 08:37:17
