I know cats like to roam And of course it is the instinct in a cat to hunt in the dark. But it is ALWAYS safer to keep cats in overnight. It`s a fallacy that cats can see in the dark; they cant. But they can see in semi-darkness. Also cats have been attacked by foxes, especially at night They usually target younger cats . And they are more likely to fight, and may get an infection from a wound. And of course busy roads too. I have two cats, so I know it is not always easy I know but accidents with cats usually happens in the early hours of the morning. I use a covered litter tray, and before we retire to bed I give them some treats, and they soon settle down:-) Ebony looks a bit like one of my cats Lucy:-)

Have local vets been contacted in case the driver has taken her to be checked or a microchip, so she can be reunited with her owner? Hope Ebony is home soon. Paws xd.
