Fantastic news Also make sure your doors are secure. I knew someone who suffered from dementia, but managed to unlock thr front door, wearing only her nightdress, and barefoot. She was found safe, and well. No longer with us

Very relieved to read this update. If your dad uses a walking stick you could always put a sticker on it with contact details and also some fabric labels for clothes pretty much what we used to do with our kids clothes when at school. Always a huge worry for any family with a member suffering from this awful disease.

****URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!!****

My friend Amanda Crosthwaite, her dad Ken Hancock has gone missing. He left her house in Heaton chapel (Claremont avenue) at 12:30 and hasn't been seen since. He took Amanda's dog - Juno - a large black Newfoundland.

Please please can you let me know if you see him/Juno or call 101. The police have been informed.

He was wearing cream denim combat trousers, a black lightweight jacket. He has thick grey hair. Please help us find him & get him home to his family
