Hi, I have just seen a picture of a springer spaniel that has been found in Ireland and looks similar to Maddy. Can’t seem to put picture on this site unfortunately. Trying to get more information as the dog is in kennels.

HARLEY WAS FOUND IN LONDON:- ON FACEBOOK:- Scott David Manson has asked me to let everybody in this group know that after 3 long years he has finally been reunited with Harley (the puppy)

Scott collected her this morning from London and other than being rather fat she is a very happy little girl and still loves a tennis ball! Thank goodness for microchips!!!!!

Thanks trishatwigs and Burdes. I have already emailed Maddie's owners to see whether they think the dog found is her. I have given the contact number of the Dog Wardens so they will be able to call them. It really would be wonderful if it was her!
I have also asked if her owner would let us have Maddie's microchip number so it can be added to this page.

Eastbourne lost pets - A photo of 2 springer spaniels has been placed on our local lost pets site. The picture is very similar to Marley and Maddie. I dont know if you are aware of this. They are saying that the chips arn't up to date. Its been put on by Marie Murray Beaters and pickers up.

Chalford dog theft trial adjourned
The man accused of stealing three dogs from a Chalford home failed to appear before magistrates for trial today.
Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court was told that Martin McDonagh, 43, of Bradley Road, Patchway, Bristol is undergoing medical assessments over his mental fitness to stand trial.
He has already pleaded not guilty to one charge of theft and was due to stand trial today.
The charge relates to the alleged theft of Cheltenham Racecourse mobile farrier Scott Manson’s English springer spaniels Maddie, Brandy and Harley in January this year.
Brandy was recovered in ‪#‎Bristol‬ earlier this year.
McDonagh did not appear in court today. Magistrates agreed to wait for a psychiatric report to be drawn up and the case was adjourned until September 29th.

The found dog is (apparently) not chipped, and the facial markings look very different. However the lighting is such that the dog's left hand side is in shadow so its appearance could be misleading. MADDIE - 7 year old small, petitely built microchipped girl.
Maddie has very big beautiful eyes and very long full ears. She has a small even blaze on her face with few spots on her muzzle. She has no liver patches on her left side but is very speckled. She does have one large patch on her right side, a patch on her back/base of her tail and a small patch on her neck.
