Thanks for all your support and kind words and guidance. I had looked in that area and called down holes and nothing then yesterday evening I heard a faint whimpering - don't know why he decided to then but thank goodness. Major excavation work that took an hour of digging to get him out. He is OK and expected home this pm from vets as he and a badger ( I am assuming) had a confrontation so bites and wounds to face, nose, mouth etc but generally OK. Thanks Again all The Wilsons xx

I have just had a message from Alfie's very happy and relieved owner...Alfie as we thought was stuck down a hole. I suggested that Craig go back when it was quiet this evening and listen out for faint whimpering and bingo! Well done and a big thank you to those people that dug him out and crawled in to get him. Alfie is spending tonight at the vets as he has some badger/fox bites. Stay close from now on Alfie xxLast edited: 2016-02-03 19:58:19 by Ravenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex

Will share this now to Love Dogs Godalming Group. He may not have been taken but might be stuck down a hole or gone down an old well. This happened to ours. Anyone able to walk their dogs there pls take notice of any interest taken by them. I hope he turns up soon
