Great news that Bertie found his own way home - such a clever boy! He really is gorgeous and has THE most gentle face. This very precious boy certainly needs to be treated to an chip AND an ID tag as a welcome home present.

Posters need to be put up in the area a.s.a.p. lamposts, entrances to parks, vets, petshops, ask postie (go to sorting office), milkmen, binmen, taxi drivers, schools, youth clubs, pubs, mcdonalds, dog training clubs and deliver to houses etc. Handout smaller posters to people, especially dog walkers. Put A4 poster in car windows. Check Police stations and Dog Warden. RSPCA and rescue centres need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows Bertie. Jan xx

Celebrations

Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
