- So sad no sign of Harry yet...Is there any possibility he was stolen from the garden?? xx
- 2016-02-15 13:10 Doglover
- I agree with Hollieberry could he have got caught up in bushes or hiding in bushes as he is frightened.
- 2016-02-15 10:21 Hollieberry
- I know owner has said that Harry would not go past a certain point ,but has the stream been checked including overhanging bushes ? We underestimate what our oldies can do .

- LOcal paper has had an advert in it , no calls as yet. Like to think he has been picked up and is safe and warm.
- 2016-02-15 08:50 Doglover
- Please get local paper or local Radion involved....it has been too long and Harry is old and will be cold. xx Someone may have taken him in and not reported him to dog warden.Last edited: 2016-02-15 08:51:48 by Doglover

- After a possible sighting last Monday night, the owner was contacted again and asked if he could enlist the help of the local community to arrange a local search of the area and all outbuildings etc., the request was declined.
Consequently searches have been conducted by the local Doglost Team, concentrating specifically on an area between Harry's house and Grange Lane where the potential sighting was last Monday (near the entrance to Rodbourne Rail). The brook has been walked and the undergrowth/banks checked. Information from one of the villagers was that Harry was sometimes seen wandering on the lane he lived on so the sighting can't be discounted.
I'll pop another post up on the village FB group asking if they'd continue to keep an eye out for him and also double check any outbuildings. - 2016-02-14 09:01 Riverlady

- Still no sightings of Harry. Owner has put posters up and advert in the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald, hope this brings news.

- Harry is still missing, sadly no known sightings, owners continue to follow up on advice given, posters, DW, Highways, vets etc. Consideration given to contacting local newspaper for appeal. New photo of Harry soon to be uploaded.

- I had a drive round for a couple of hours on Saturday evening and yesterday morning but with the weather being so bad it was hard to stop and search well, and if the poor boy is both deaf and blind calling is pointless so it's quite difficult to know where to look or what to do other than keep asking people to look out for him. Has there been any sightings of him at all?

- A couple of the local team have been over today. No posters anywhere and no sign of any searchers, although a lot of people in the village appear aware of Harry.
We're trying to establish exactly what has or hasn't been done. - 2016-02-06 18:35 Hollieberry
- Is there anyone in the area that could help search ? He needs to be found urgently. Perhaps could put deaf & blind in title .

- Oh dear poor old Harry, will share
- 2016-02-05 21:59 Lilybear
- I have spoken briefly with owner who has invited me to share the circumstances:
Harry is an ‘elderly’ 12yr old, he is deaf and blind wearing a purple collar.
Harry was let out into the garden at 7am Thurs 04/02 and has not been seen since.
There is nothing to prevent him wandering to the front of the house (west of/close to the A429) but due to his age he never usually goes further than the patio. Bedding and food left in garden.
The stream at end of garden followed to a point on the opposite side of the A429 where a tree has fallen collecting debris, it’s thought Harry could not have got passed this point, checked with no trace.
All agencies informed, I have shared advice sheets and have made offer of help. I do hope Harry arrives home safely.
