What a shame that there has been no more sightings ,it is very bleak in that area it would be tough for a dog to survive the awfull weather out there.
ClaireC
Email back to say that to date there have been no further sightings.

Could this be my dog Otto reference 90906? Also was a photo posted on here of a dog on the M62 that looked like him reference 96375 a few weeks ago. He is a crossbreed anatolian shepherd- looks like a collie german shepherd cross. He is chipped- would be grateful for new of this dog is caught. 01892 725714

Hi Amandal. You appear to be a lovely person, helping with this dog, when your own dog is missing. Have you found your dog? I really hope you have xx

Sorry i've been focussing on my own missing dog all day today, but have just had a message from a lady about 8pm saying she'd seen this dog Echo? on Heights Road coming out of Midgley. Tried to coax it with biscuits - unsurprisingly it didnt come. i will text my mobile number but am struggling for time with everything else going on. I do know some people who might be happy to get involved though so at least will try and get hold of them for Ray.
ClaireC
Amanda can you please text me your contact telephone details so that I can pass onto Ray for his use only. My contact mob is 07887652916

Amanda that is very kind of you and your father. If you put out food at same time (if poss) he/she will begin to visit at that same time everday. The feeding station needs to be established for a good 10 days and dare i say it maybe even longer! If you make the food nice and smelly it will continue to come along. Even better if you or your father can encourage it into an area where it is possible to enclose it against escape! I will also ask if RayD can give you a call to offer any further advice. Ray is our expert on trapping dogs. Thank you for whatever help you are able to offer. X

Hi there, I wonder if this dog is the same as the one reported missing on number 95560. If so, it's called Echo and has been missing from Huddersfield since Dec 7th. Apparently the owners are aware and coming over to HX2 this evening, but they'd only had her for an hour when she went missing as had bought her from someone in Bacup or Accrington? The chances of Echo, if it is her, responding are slight I think. But my father in law is going to leave some food out tonight hoping that she might come and get it. ps just noticed Hollieberry referred to same thing. Perhaps the two need cross referencing on DogsLost pages if possible?Last edited: 2016-02-08 16:48:06 by AmandaL

This dog has now been spotted in several areas of Midgley/Luddenden over the past couple of days. This morning it was seen in the fields below the bus terminus in Midgley and ran down towards Brearley Woods. I will report to the dog warden this morning as my dog Molly is also missing in the same area. I think someone was trying to feed, but the dog seems to be roaming quite a wide area. Will see if I can set something up near my in-laws house in Midgley.
ClaireC
Is there anybody locally to where this dog is being spotted prepared to set up a feeding station to draw him/her in and to gain its trust?
