- This very sad message was posted on Jenna Mango Reid's Facebook page today:
Thank you so much for all of the shares and all of your kind and thoughtful messages. I am overwhelmed and really appreciate it so much, you really are all such really lovely people. Unfortunately and it pains and breaks my heart too say that my amazing dad will not be coming home. He was/is the best person I've ever known, my best friend, my hero, my rock. He taught me everything I know, he was the most caring, lovely, kindest man ever, I could go on and on of how amazing he is. This world is a cruel place too take such a wonderful man from it, a true loss. He was one inn a million, one of a kind, no one was like him, his laugh, his smile, his stupid funny jokes, he just had a way with people, he could make the most miserable person laugh, all such unique quality's, he always made me smile and laugh when I was down and a moody cow. I honestly don't know how I'm going too cope inn a world without him. And I'll miss him so much every single day, the best person I'll ever know, you really don't realise how much you take people for granted, and don't always show your appreciation for them, and don't tell them you love them as much, if I could go back, I would show him every day, please think about that with your loved ones to, cause there is no second chances. This has been the worst and hardest time inn mine and my family's life, we will be empty without him, he completed us. R.I.P kid. Love you so much, forever and always.Last edited: 2016-02-09 13:42:39 - 2016-02-09 12:13 LindaT

- A huge search has been launched for an RSPCA inspector who is missing in the storms in Cornwall.
54 year old Mike Reid was working around Porthcurno when he disappeared on Sunday afternoon.
His van was found in the Minnack Theatre car park.
Police and the coastguard helicopter scoured the sea and coastal path.
Land and sea searches have finished for the day.
The search began when a member of his family reported him missing first thing on Monday, after he failed to come home.
Mike, who is from Redruth, is described as white, 5ft 8ins in height, of stocky build and with short greying spiked hair. He was wearing black trousers, a white shirt and black jumper.
Inspector Jean Phillips, based in Penzance, said: "We are extremely concerned for Mike's welfare, particularly with the wet and windy weather overnight. If anyone sees him in the area please get in touch."
The RSPCA says Mike has not been seen since he was called to a wildlife rescue involving 20 to 30 gannets stranded on rocks at Porthchapel Beach, near Penzance.
Dermot Murphy, the RSPCA's Assistant Director for the Inspectorate, said: "We are extremely concerned and urge anyone who may have seen Mike yesterday to contact Devon and Cornwall Police who are leading the search.
"He has not been seen since he responded to a call to our National Control Centre about stricken birds yesterday.
"We are in close contact with his family and will continue to provide ongoing support through the search."
Anyone with information about Mike's whereabouts is asked to call 999 quoting reference 106 of 8 February. - 2016-02-08 18:14
