- Other Info Monty was lost in the fields behind Haywards Heath rugby club in Cuckfield - near to New England Woods. He ran off after a rabbit or deer at 1pm and has not been seen since.

- From Monty's FB page 'Some good news! Monty is doing really well. His blood tests have all come back as fine and he is eating and drinking well and really bright and responsive. He can come home tonight - yipee! Thank you so very much to everyone who helped us find him - far too many of you to mention but you all played a huge part in his rescue. It is thought that he was down the fox hole the whole time and could not get out until he had lost enough weight to wriggle free, then made his way up the rugby club. I will post photos of him when he gets home later tonight.xx'

- Read on Facebook that poor Monty had been stuck down a rabbit hole for 15 days and only got out due to losing weight from lack of food. He was found by the side of the Rugby pitch (I am sure it said Rugby) collapsed and dehydrated, hence the reason he is at the Vets. Hoping for a full recovery Monty. Stay safe now. xxx
