- Any updates on this one please?

- oh if only a l l dogowners would make sure their dog has an oldfashioned clearly visible £4 pettag on - so much worry, heartache, money, tears would be avoided. microchips wonderful if up to date and always should be chipped but they are of course only visible to those with a scanner - as most of the 50 million people in uk don't have a scanner. but we can all read an id disc

- Hi Angie. Thanks so much for looking after this girl. I'd really appreciate this if she was one of mine. In my neck of the woods if a dog goes missing on a Friday the owner cannot collect until the Monday - even if all fees are paid upfront. I've even known someone to offer more than the charges, just to have their dog back home asap, only to be refused.
Perhaps I've missed something but has she been scanned for a chip? - 2016-02-12 20:06 Bo
- I always get a big confused with the DW and contractors and out of hours responsibility as well - so to clarify the DW in this case is Leigh - were they grumpy about not collecting the dog or OK about it?
- 2016-02-12 19:58 Angie
- She was reported to Leigh by the other finder as I said? Leigh and the warden number is the same
Aww I wish I could find more, always share dogs on fb and print screen in the hope of finding
Thing is to another's comments, if the dog goes Leigh the owner probably can't afford release fees

- Angie, I wish you could find my two girls Hemp and Tinker 71080 and 71081
I would feel honoured to have you looking after them.
Keep up the good work xxxx - 2016-02-12 19:43 Unknown
- Sorry to say its law to report a found dog to the dog warden. :-(

- Hi Angie, no problem really! I think its great she's safe now. I post a lot of dogs all cross posted from facebook (I'm a student and do this in my spare time), I just think I might as well do something like this in my spare time to help :) I simply post the facts I have from the original posts, any additional info I find I add but usually people are really helpful and add this info in the comments, I just make this starting point - thanks for taking care of her. :)

- Bless you Angie, if I found and could look after a dog I would certainly hold on to it rather than go into pound x
- 2016-02-12 18:49 springerlover
- Well done Angie wonderful that there are still people like you about, willing to put themselves out and look after a poor little sole who is already frightened, heavens knows how they would have coped in kennels.
- 2016-02-12 17:52 Angie
- Aww and a thank you to you to for defending what I have done, rather a dog get a chance than be in Leigh. Unlike her sibling is in

- Well done Angie

- Well done Angie for taking care of this poor soul. If I'd lost my dog I'd prefer her to be in a home kept safe and calm. Thanks for caring.

- Hi I was one of the finders, Leigh has been informed,I nor other finder posted it on here, so THAT IS WHY NO PHONE number also didn't want my number all over fb,
I'd say she's only young 2 ish tho I'm not a vet, She's very timid, shaking but easing off,
I've fostered and boarded and just wanted to hold in the hope we can find an owner, I'm openly on fb, and posting updated pics of her in Bath, on a bed I made for foster dogs
Took me from dinner time get on their site password wouldn't work, then re register then didnt see where I can comment on a post so thank you to those that see I'm trying to do best
Oh she has been pupped, looks like more than once, but no milk now - 2016-02-12 15:21 Diane67
- The dog warden was informed and you can legally look after for 28 days until finder found the dog is safe and everything that can be done to locate owner is being done
- 2016-02-12 13:43 billybob
- You can see from facebook she is being so well looked after by finder. Hope owner claims her before she has to go anywhere else. She looks lovely.

- No contact number was on post. I have left name of woman who currently has the dog - she can be found on Facebook using this name. I always give as much details as possible, unfortunately this is all that was provided in this case. If you go onto Harvey's ARmy North Facebook page you can find this dog and follow the comments :)

- I must say I know of the reputation of Leigh dogs home and I would not want to send a dog there either.
- 2016-02-12 13:00 Mallory'smum
- I must say I totally disagree with you colliebird If it was my dog I would much rather they were in somebodys nice warm house having a bath and being comforted than going to the horrific Leigh Dogs Home where they risk being put to sleep. Contact numbers would be helpful though.
- 2016-02-12 12:48 colliebird
- Looks like a collie or collie cross. Most annoying when finders keep the dogs and won't contact dog warden because they don't want the dogs to go to stray kennels at Leigh. they are preventing the dogs being reunited with their dogs. Also frustrating when they never give contact numbers. Grrrrrrrrrrrr
