- So sorry to have built your hopes up Dawn but at least you know that several people are still looking out for Lola and we will continue to do so.

- Hi, I have been out of internet this week. Not sure what to say now? I have been informed by the finder that this dog has a foreign chip so there is nothing else I can do? Bitterly disappointed again but after 2 years, perhaps it was. Too much to expect? Thank you to EVERYONE for support and wishes xxLast edited: 2016-02-19 11:36:12 by Dawn and Lola

- This all seems a bit suspicious to me-does finder now want to keep dog and is removing all traces of themselves and dog? Are we sure it is not Lola?

- I see the finder's phone number has been removed from this thread. When did that happen?

- I am the UK coordinator of a Romanian dog charity Eli for Animals. My colleague in Romania is trying to trace the original rescuer of this dog so they can provide details of who they sent the dog to. I have spoken with the dog warden and they say the people who have found this dog would not leave her at the vets. They just left a phone number and every time the dog warden tries to call it goes to voicemail which is not good. The dog warden needs to know where the dog currently is!!

- The original photo appears to have dissappeared without explanation. I have added those shared on facebook .
Could the finder please contact doglost direct with the microchip number so that we can cross check against those registered as missing with usLast edited: 2016-02-18 08:45:07 by Gnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset - 2016-02-17 18:44 Becca23
- I'm so sorry to dawn that it wasn't her Lola and thank you dawn for offering to help
This little girl she's getting well looked after - 2016-02-17 13:02 Baydogs
- Thanks Veronica. Disappointing for Dawn though. Sorry Dawn.
As this little one has a foreign chip, I wonder if a foreign vehicle stopped for fuel here and she escaped. I wonder if the local police station have had a report of her missing?
Thank you so much to the finder for keeping her safe until her owner is found. - 2016-02-17 12:50 Veronica
- Dawn had a call to tell her that this little girl had been scanned again (at the first scan the chip was unreadable, hence the doubt), that she has a foreign chip and therefore, very sadly, cannot be Lola.
Also sad is that no one else seems to be looking for this dog.
Would it be possible to put up some posters in the area where she was found?
The finder is doing a great job looking after her. I've asked him to let us know what happens.
Please keep up the search for Lola

- Thank you for the update Veronica, it must be so frustrating for Dawn not being able to get back to check for sure.

- Lola's owner really thinks that this is Lola. She's away at the moment but is keeping in touch with the finder. She will be back on Sunday to confirm whether or not its her long lost baby. Everything crossed!

- Hi I work in Holdenhurst Road and saw a young couple with a dog very similar to this , walking past the petrol station from Ashley road end. The female was holding the dog, but it looks very like the picture. If not Lole it would be worth putting up found posters .

- It's being said that this dog was sighted near the petrol station over a couple of days. Praying it is Lola

- Well spotted Baydogs, I was just about to look up Lola's details myself as I remembered her from when she first went missing. Fingers crossed.

- Lola's owner replied to say that she would check this one. Fingers crossed.Last edited: 2016-02-14 16:44:10 by Veronica

- Veronica, no problem, text already sent but no reply as yet. Hopefully the contact number is still in use.

- Baydogs, I think it does look like Lola. I've sent a text to her owners for them to check (sorry if you've already done it)

- Finder, could this dog be Lola (Lost 66278?)
Does she have a little bit of white around her chest?
If so, she is chipped. - 2016-02-14 14:17
