- That is wonderful to read, so glad Simba is safe. Yes, he could well have been locked in someplace, poor mite. Give him a big kiss from us! X Keep safe Simba. xxx

- Thank you to everyone for all your support and loving words xx I have given it a thought and I most probably get him neutered. So thank you for convincing me lol! And after that experience of losing him I have definitely changed my view on it. He seems to be so much more loving towards us as if his missed us too!! His bones are showing from the starvation :( so gna feed him well lol! I cant explain how happy we are. We all ran to the door as soon as we heard his meow soon as hubby opened door lol!! And he was too busy looking for some food. Now sleeping I his bed with hisfave blanket.. Xx

- That's brilliant news and so typical of a Tom cat to behave like that [as if nothing has happened] Hehehe..so glad he is home & safe now.
Welcome home Simba. X - 2016-02-21 09:50 Unknown
- I think someone has probably been feeding him. And perhaps he got locked in their garage which may account for his cuts. Will second that Skywalker99. Stops unwanted kittens tooLast edited: 2016-02-22 15:34:38

- Please get him neutered and chipped. He will wander less if neiutered, plus your house will smell better...... Tom cats spray and it is not a pleasant smell.Last edited: 2016-02-23 23:02:00 by Skywalker99

- I am so pleased to say that simba has just literally walked through the door like nothings happened. He has lost so much weight over the past 12 days. A few cuts here and there from other cats but now cosied up in my lap after some food. Life feels so good again. :'DDD

- Come on Simba you need to be home. I only mentioned neutering becajuse it is also best for the owner. And stops them from spraying too. Come on Simba come home please

- @janiejewel1649 i guess his probably just gone out to explore but he obviously is still vulnerable and young. i will give it a thought though about neutering so thank you for the advice.
@digbysmum thank you for the supporting words xx - 2016-02-17 13:33 digbysmum

- Hi Although you dont like the idea of neutering, it is actually best for the cat. They only remove testes, and they are fine after. The problem is full toms will go quite a distance looking for a female to mate with, therefore risking busy traffic. Also neutered cats tend not to wander too far from home, and less likely to fight, which can result in infected wounds. And of course the neutered/spayed cats cant produce kittens. Some animal centres are having to put some cats to sleep because of this reason. (Not Cat protection though) I am sure most cat owners will agree I have TWO SPAYED FEMALES myself, and they are absolutely fine. Ps I know you say he doesn`t go far but there is always a first time. U nusual folr a full tom not to go far. Hope Simba is home soon. Last edited: 2016-02-17 13:33:57

- Thank you Jayne & Sharon x and @janiejewel1649 Ive done everything but the tuna. He is not neutered. I just dont like the idea of playing around with nature. I was planning to get another female kitten. My gut instinct tells me someones taken him in. He is afraid to jump onto a short fence and just gets startled by anything. He likes to be around me for safety. He has never gone beyond my neighbours garden as he cant jump onto the high fences. I dont know how his managed this time round. Whetever he is I really hope he is fine and safe and not starving himself and away grom the freezing weather outside. I just cant believe his gone for so many days. Im finding it so hard to deal with. Thank you for the advice though. Means a lot. X

- Is Simba neutered? As then they dont temnd to wander tolo vfar normally. Someone mat be feeding him. Put some tuina in bhis dish or food which he really enjoys, and keep calling him; night or early morning is best. Rattrle some treats too. Put something with his scent on such as his blanket/bedding, and leave in a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave i n the garden in a sheltered spot, or put on thne washing line if dry weather. Wipe his scent on all your garden fences (Inside, and out, and gates too. Put "Lost" posters through doors, and ask around. Ask friends, and neighbours too, and share. Presume you checked all outbuildings to see if he had been locked in? Paws xd.Last edited: 2016-02-17 08:56:06
