- How sad. I am sure the dogwalker feels awful without further comments. Dogs can get spooked when with their owners, too. I was a dogwalker and as long as the owner gave written permission, and after the dog was used to me, I let my charges off the lead .....this was hopefully just down to bad luck, not necessarily irresponsible behaviour.

- jaybee. I agree with you enrirely. I am a volunteer dog walker for the Cinnamon Trust. And there is no way I woould let a dog off its lead whilst walking it. It`s just common sense. - there seems to be quite a number of dogs escape whilst with dogwalker if i was a dog walker there would be no way id let them off their leaders too precious tp owners
