- Excellent news! I gather owners went out in the early hours and they spotted Poppy and Samson along the road near to their home.
Well done to them and I'm so glad they have been found safe and well.

- We have just been out for final time until fist light. Their bedding has been put down from the place they ran off.
Areas searched so far views woods and Buxted park, all roads round the vicinity towards Buxted.
Poppy's epilepsy can cause her to become lethargic, confused and ataxic (wobbly) after a seizure, she last had her medication this morning 17/02/16 (pexion) - 2016-02-17 22:59 Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex
- Thanks Alison.
I have had a chat with VSB and both dogs ran off from the Rugby Club in the direction of woods which are close to their home.
I have emailed our Doglost advice to VSB as well. She and her family have already searched the area but no sign yet.
Dog Wardens and Police are aware and owners will contact vets etc in the morning if Samson and Poppy are not home by then.
I think it is likely that they have gone after deer and that with luck they will be back by morning.
If not, I have advised getting as many posters up in the area as possible.
I expect VSB will post on here soon with more details as to area lost.
Best of luck and let's hope both Poppy and Samson make their own way home soon. - 2016-02-17 21:33 AlisonH
