- Are there any pictures of this dog as FB today saying she has been sold on 26th July 2018 in Wigan , however the seller said she had had her for 4 years and she is a RR cross, are we sure this is the same dog?? The dog advertised looks to be a Rottie cross?? Do not want to be sharing and raising hopes . This is the link to the add when sold https://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds/1996459-home-wanted-wigan.html Now having seen a photo of missing dog, I would say this is definatly not the same dog sorry if I got any ones hopes up, thought it was oddLast edited: 2018-07-28 20:51:41 by egizzy

Do wish people would post the URL rather than just the random facebook group name (there are many duplicate group names on FB) - 2016-11-04 11:10 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- a Female RR has been found in stray at a UPS parcel depot in Swansea described as very thin and looks like she has had pups, and is very nervous and scared eventually caught in a garden - looks like she has been taken to Greenfields Kennels in Morriston. ( see Facebook page Animals missing/lost/found in Swansea and surrounding areas) from the comments looks like she may have been feral for some time. fingers crossed if this could be her.

- Hi Kirstybaby.
I’ve shared your poster to local Fb pages. Have you contacted your local Dog Warden? Pls always check SDK website - http://www.lostdogsuk.co.uk/index.php?id=74 + local Facebook groups as many others sites as well.
All the very best.
Thanks xLast edited: 2016-02-20 13:58:30 by Bella - 2016-02-19 12:05 Jytte - Area Volunteer - West Yorkshire

- So sorry your baby is missing.
I suggest putting 'do not approach' on your posters as a scary person coming towards you could make her run and leave the area. You are likely to get her back quickly if you ask people to phone you and get her into custordy.
RRs are such athletic and sensitive souls. I hope she gives herself up very soon. As well as posters post on as many local pet groups, and selling groups on facebook and twitter (I am less familiar with twitter) Use groups for the surrounding areas as well as the one you lost her until you have her or she shows she is staying in one place. - 2016-02-19 10:37 Rose
- Get as many posters out in the area as you can to make her TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Ring DW daily, all local vets etc. Hope she is found vey soon x

- Sorry to see that BELLA BOO is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (98754)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
