- Sounds awful but I'd suggest that dog was in a bin liner or similar and tipped out for it to be in that strange position

- This dog was found by one of our Inspectors whilst dealing with a fly tip, he came across the dog by chance. The dog was found it the position shown and was in rigger so no other photo’s were taken.
I was off so did not get to see the dog for 4 days and by then it had been in the freezer, still in that position so difficult to say exactly what breed it is.
It is a medium male, black wire haired dog, possible a Patterdale cross.
Map also attached shows the location found.
Sorry I cannot be more helpful but aside from defrosting the poor thing there is not much more I can tell you.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
