Keelah - Owners have previously paid for ads in various locals but as yet have had no editorial coverage. Is there any chance you can get Millie in somewhere? There is quite a large cash reward (don't know if this helps).

Don't think dog in Epping is Millie. Have spoken to owner and given Epping DW number just in case. Millie's ears are both brown, prick ears and she has a white stripe up the back of the right ear, and a white smile. Owner has 100 acre farm and knows the land well. Have checked all the badger, rabbit holes etc. Have put up lots of posters and covered lots of Harlow where the travellers are. Millie went missing on the track approx 10pm and owners say it was as if she disappeared into thin air. Will do some more emailing and faxing next week.

Could Millie be the terrier found in Epping Forest? Has the owner contacted the dog warden as it may be that whoever picked her up has dumped her in the forest?

Hi, I'm a new helper in the Chelmsford area. I've emailed the poster to people living around the area and will keep my eyes open for this little girl. Let's hope she's safe and sound and has just gone off to explore the rabbits. Karen x

If there are travellers in the area - make sure posters go up +++ on their doorstep. If they have the dog, they will surely let her go. Make her too hot to handle. Good luck... judy

Just spoken to owners son. They need to contact Battersea but have contacted local Police and have checked land thoroughly. They have taken an ad in the local newspaper. As there are travellers in Harlow I've told them to contact Travellers Liaison Officer. Emailing list, Word format poster and flyers to owners son and also link to Millie's thread. They are having a poster campaign this weekend - Katie

I am just a little bit too far from this area but I might be driving through there next week so I will definitely keep my eyes open for this lovely lady. As Yasa said POSTER EVERYWHERE that most definitely helped us get beautiful Fable back to her home. Come home soon sweet Millie. x x x x

As soon as admin receives a photograph, the poster can be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible. Lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins, vets, pet shops, ask postmen to take to sorting office, milkmen, bin men, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, all takeaway food shops, dog training clubs, supermarkets, car parks, and in car windows. Hand out smaller posters or cards to people, especially dog walkers and deliver to houses etc. Police stations, and Dog Wardens, R.S.P.C.A , and all rescue centres need checking frequently, and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Millie well.
