My personal opinion of this photo is that i doubt any owner is going to identify their missing dog ftom this distressing photograph. Sorry, but i think it serves no purpose. RIP dog.

Nicki. Thanks for giving this poor girl a name. RIP+ Lovely Lola
We will never know what really happened will we sadly? Hope the new microchipping law will turn out to be a positive. I too am an avid animal lover; you name it. Thanks for the update
Nicki
I have named her Lola. I didn't realise dog lost was involved until the dog warden asked to get them updated. I went off a lost and found page. This is the information I have posted on Facebook.
Today I collected a dead dog. I can't say what breed it was. But we possible believe it was a lurcher/whippet breed. She is a female and possible black and white in colour. Finders said they think a blue collar was there when they found her. When I collected her I could not find a collar. She was found in Charlwood gate sussex. No dog doesn't deserve not to have a name. So I have named her Lola RIP beautiful girl I'm so sorry someone failed you. Sleep well and run free to the rainbow bridge. Xxx
I am a volunteer for Harveys army but I am very happy to work with any organisation to help a animal in need and that's any animal not just dogs cats horses etc xx

DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
Not Winston...Dogwarden has kindly gone out and scanned but no chip...He says its a female small lurcher/Whippet type. Body is now bagged and warden has asked details now be removed from site. But leaving on for a while so those concerned can see the dog has been looked into.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
