- I too thought of Meg as Edwinstow is near to where she went missing, and she looks quite small for a springer so could be mistaken for a cocker xLast edited: 2018-02-21 21:46:06 by JulieH

- A poor dog was found (Ref No. 125805) deceased ... had to be the one to ask but would it be worth megs owner phoning the vet to ask if any other way of ID'ing this poor dog as Meg is chipped however I doubt the chip will still work or is even still there on the poor found dog.

- This is on Facebook could it be related ?
Another pair of dogs, these two gorgeous Springer Spaniel girls, have been found and again we're asking if you can help us find the owners. We have had success in the past, can we do it again?
The Spaniels are chipped but the details are still linked to previous owners from a long way away and a long time ago. However the chip gives us their names. Meg is about 10 years old and Poppy is 6. Both seem well and happy to be with us.
Are they familiar to you? Has someone suddenly stopped visiting the park that you go to?
As usual if anyone has any ideas who she belongs to we can be contacted via email on "dogs.wardens@adur-worthing.gov.uk" or by phone at our contact centre, 01903 231064.
Thank you. - 2016-04-26 19:05 KellyPreece

- From Meg's FB page: 'Another possible sighting this time on John Street in Worksop at 5.20pm this evening.
If you know someone in this area with a spaniel with a full brown head then let us know and we can rule out this area.
If not please keep your eyes open.
Meg has a full brown head and a lot of brown on her back.
Meg is quite small for a springer
There is a LARGE REWARD if you find her
If you think you see a dog you think is Meg please try and get a photo.

She was being walker in the field next to REd Lane when she went through the hedge onto the road. The field is part of her home, her owner saw her on the grass verge outside the factories on the lane, turned round to deal with the other dog, looked back and she was gone. On the Tuesday after easter the factory cctv was checkede and she was seen going round the back of the factory where the camera lost her. A tracker dog has been and the scent was lost ina nearby wood. - 2016-04-18 20:15 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

From Meg's facebook page: We are totally overwhelmed by the amount of help and support we are getting to try and find our precious Meg. Thank you all so much
Still no sightings so here is another pic of Meg from a few years ago with her head and back markings. She also has a docked tail.
If you know something and are afraid of saying then message me privately - your name will not be mentioned. We are willing to pay to get her back so don't be afraid to come forward. Has someone you know got a new dog? Have you seen a dog like Meg?
Imagine having a member of your family kidnapped - that is how we feel. Please keep sharing far and wide - someone knows where Meg is. Thank you so much x - 2016-04-18 20:13 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
