There has been a credible sighting of Little Madam in Heath Hayes.
DogLostOwl
Little Madam was sighted on 29th September this year, so still out there as far as we know.
Sarah
I'm still getting potential sightings around Heath Hayes & Cannock area but only fleeting glances & always by people driving. She's still in the area, someone must be seeing her & possibly be mistaking her for a fox
Sarah
9:33 last night CCTV footage in Health Hayes showing little madam walking down a cul-de-sac heading to the fields clear as day! 😁
Sarah
100% positive sighting yesterday 9:30am sunbathing in long grass 😁 she's been seen crossing roads in the area but this is the first reported sighting of where she may have been going to X
DogLostReynard
Thats very good news! :-)
Hope this means she is ready to go home x
Sarah
Positive sightings last Wednesday morning (6/3/19) & again last night at 10, both in Heath Hayes and on routes she has been known to use in the past Last edited: 2019-03-16 08:41:32

Still missing last reported sighting was 20th November (still in the Cannock area) she is 9 now & could look very different from her picturesLast edited: 2019-03-16 08:40:52

I can't believe how much food is left out for the foxes & badgers around here! She has never been seen around bins or the takeaways in the area. Unfortunately because she was so badly abused in her previous life the trap is my only option X
Hollieberry
Sarah I have followed Little Madamn since she first went missing I dident realise it was 2 yrs .How is she surviving is she being fed somewhere ? are you still planning to catch her in a trap ?
Sarah
Had a really good sighting Friday night (13/4/18) the lady was able to pinpoint exactly where she'd seen Madam & the time! I sat lurking in the car last night (14/4/18) she appeared, exactly the same time & place, no more than 20ft from the car, very calm just pottering around X

Happy New Year Sarah, hoping 2018 is the time for Little Madam to come home x
Sarah
Wishing all the amazing Doglost volunteers a wonderful day 💜
Santa didn't bring Madam home but I did get a 100% positive sighting last night at 1:30 in Cannock very close to houses & just a little further down the road form the last sightings, got her Christmas dinner cooking hopefully tonight we'll be in the right place at the right time & can tempt her out of hiding X

Day 607!!! Had a fantastic tip off last night from a lady having a lift from a work colleague, general conversation when he says "there's usually a fox just here with 3 legs" It's a five minute walk (for me) from the feeding station that's started to be used three times a week X
Sarah
Not really Reynard I'm still getting reports of potential sightings in the area, setting up feeding stations with the wildlife camera but so far only foxes. It's 16 months now, I'm still out every night, I'm 99% sure I've seen her once this year with my own eyes apart from that I'm relying on other people getting a fleeting glance of her & unfortunately she couldn't look more like a fox if she tried! Any ideas greatly appreciated XLast edited: 2017-09-22 22:43:51

Any news ?
Sarah
Day 388!!! The weathers picked up & sightings have started coming in again, without wanting to speak to soon she appears to be sticking to the same areas she's been in all along but kept a very low profile over the winter.
Hollieberry
This lass has been out there almost a year has anyone got a plan to catch her ?
DogLostOwl
Glad she has popped up again.

Is it worth askingK9 tracker to help go round the last sighted areas and see if they can scent her out? Also maybe an ideal time to arrange a large search party and perhaps have lovely smelling food around as I bet she is starving ..... come on little madam time to go home where you belong xx
Sarah
After a very quite couple of months at long last a couple of positive sightings in the Hednesford area :) XXX

Is there any further news of this little girl please ?

Positive sighting yesterday evening (1st November) waste land behind Sainsbury's Cannock. This is even more urgent now, she's kept herself safe for over 6 months now but this morning was the first real frost, the British winter is the one thing she is not equipped to cope with 😢 Last edited: 2016-11-02 11:11:05 by Sarah
Sarah
Yes Hollieberry, I'm out looking every day & have been since day one X

You could try laying a scent trail - see below. Any news?

* Posters work ! Print off the doglost.co.uk posters with a mobile contact number and put outside garages, Banks, dog walking sites, supermarkets, postal sorting offices, bus stops, rough pubs (where dogs get traded). Expect the odd hoax call.

* Familiar smells help guide them back home. Put outside your home (or where they went missing) their favourite food, unwashed family laundry, contents of your hoover bag, some of your urine and leave out a familiar toy). These smell of 'home' and can be detected from far away.

* Make sure there is someone in the area they went missing from in case they return. Keep quiet and sit low down or on the floor and do not rush to the dog.

* Don’t shout your dog’s name anxiously - they won't recognise the tone of your voice. Call as you would normally. After a few hours dogs may go into survival mode and calling will not work.

* Search in a triangular area - Dogs go from A to B to C to A (as they pick up their own scent and follow it) when they’re lost.

* Set up a team of spotters once the dog has been seen.

* Alert local FACEBOOK GROUPS (selling pages, dog groups) Dog wardens, vets, dog walkers, rescue centres, Police (a dog counts as lost property).

Sorry onestopalldogs, it may well be the same dog, but we have been asked to keep this dog's real name off our site to prevent people from calling her by name as this will spook her.Last edited: 2016-08-25 22:45:34 by Owl

I have spoken to the owner this morning who has done all the right things ad tried so hard to find this little madam.
The name has been changed as we do not want people to go out calling her, this makes her run and we don't want her to move out of the area.
Bumped due to regular sightings.
