Oh Jan, I am so upset to hear about poor Billy and Eric. They were obviously very close, and were so lucky to grow up, and have the company of each other during their lives. Everyone's arms are around you comforting you at this sad time.

I am sad to say that these boys lost their lives on the railway line. Our thanks to the train driver who spotted them and called owner. So sorry for their people, who have tried so hard to find them.

Just a thought - What about contacting your local radio station - Erewash Sound - studio telephone number 0115 930-3450 as they represent the local area and community.
I have already rang Radio Nottingham and requested for it to be put on air - But I was told - That they did do it at one time, but now they have a policy - NOT TO DO IT.
So no help is forthcoming there, and I think they are the ones who could help so much in getting Billy and Eric back to you.

Maybe Erewash Sound might have a different attitude - I would give it a try if I was you

Thank you for all your help everyone.
I have had such overwhelming support from Harvey's Army and Dog TAG so now have posters everywhere, a Facebook page 'Help find Billy and Eric- Nottingham', tracker dogs coming to search the area, people with working dogs searching round hedgerows etc etc. There have been no reported sightings apart from 1 which is being followed up. Thanks for the tips about the vac bag etc weimlover.
I'll keep posting updates but don't forget there are 2 of them missing - Billy and his little brother Eric. Thanks

As they are so close to home - please Hang out their smelliest of bedding & Yours too (whiffy t-shirts, bedsheets etc. ) if you can - on the Washing Line - empty out the contents of your Vac. Bag near safe place at entrance to your home - they will hopefully 'scent' their way home x

Do you have a Facebook page where you are coordinating searches from? Or where people can update if they have a sighting of either of them? Have you contacted Harvey's Army on Facebook yet? Anji O'Donoghue (from Harvey's army) is brilliant at helping set up a page/group and then adding lots of people in the area that might be able to help out.
