- I'm pretty sure Bill was in the local paper. Vidas the owner and a helper have both confirmed the dog sighted wasn't Bill but very like him ( shame ). Just have to hope that there is a sighting soon or he gets scanned and reported.

- Claresuzanna that's the 3rd sighting I think of Bill in the same area. Bill has a FB page "help find Bill". Vidas has recently come out of hospital so I'm sure any sightings will perk him up.

- I'm pretty sure owner did get story in paper earlier on.Bill and Vidas have a very large following in their local area.Maybe they cud do a follow on story

- Perhaps if a story could be placed in the local paper, then if someone has Bill but was not aware he was missing would get intouch, r a neighbour who knows someone that has just acquired would get in touch. Especially as owner and Bill are old. xx

- Please can we use this page for Bill as he has a duplicate page 99020 and this one has more details from owner listed. I have bumped for the sighting, although late, due to the mix up with two pages. Sorry. Do we have any helpers in the area for Bill please? Sounds like owner needs help. Thanks. x

- Copied from Streetlife Barking," there's been a positive sighting of a dog very much like Bill. A lady in Barking Park today told me that she's sure that she saw Bill early in the evening one day last week though she wasn't sure when. He was being walked on a lead by an elderly man with a beard and was on Longbridge Rd on the opposite side from the park, somewhere between the town centre and the shops at Faircross - somewhere the middle, walking in the direction of Faircross away from the town centre. It's possible that he'd just been walked in barking Park and it's possible that the man lives on Longbridge Road, or one of the side roads - Wilmington or Hulse for example. So, please can anyone living in the Longbridge Road, Faircross or Barking Park area keep a look out for Bill with an older man? Or look out for an elderly neighbour who has recently acquired a new jack Russell terrier? It's so important to get him back to his owner Vidas who is now recovering from surgery and less able to go searching. Come on streetlifers, we can do this and get Bill home" Hoping this is a concrete lead.

- Sorry to see that BILL SIGHTED is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (99288)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.

- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
