- It would help if the owner could get a picture on site for posters to be sent out. There are several dogs missing from the vicinity of Kettering of late so there could be a pattern looming. Stay safe sweetie. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Let's hope it's Clyde. You don't say whether Clydes tail is docked or not. Quite important really.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- hi im clydes owner, we have had a call from the dog warden in basingstoke, they have picked up a male, entire black/tan dobermann, she has sent me pics and i have to admit he is very similar, even tho all dobermanns tend to look the same lol. i am trying to get a lift to get down there and see because even if im not 100% sure, the dog will know. and as the dog warden has said, its too much of a coinsidence, the fact the no-one in that area or surrounding areas has reported one missing. trying everything to get down there today. hope to god its him. just have to get there now, wish me luck xx thanxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Sent Clyde's details to several breeders and Dobe rescue contacts. Need a good picture so locals can get the posters out and start getting him seen. People can be wary of a loose Dobe but if they know he is lost they can call owner. Hope you are soon back home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Agree that a really clear headshot photograph of Clyde would be great for the poster, as Dobies tend to be most apparently different in the face. Could pick my three out if they were in a croud of one hundred!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Does Clyde have any features that stand out? having two here i know people might think they are the same but they have several differences and round our way there are not that many around. Might also be worth looking on www.epupz.co.uk there has been quite a few older puppies for sale recently on there. Please can we have a picture of him. Good luck..Liza xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Poor Clyde is still such a young Dobermann to be missing, his family must be so worried about him. They are such loving and very loyal dogs who are happiest at home with their family. Make Clyde at hot as possible, contact your local radio to see if they will help, local newpapers and if possible put a lost add with a photo. Ask local newsagents and pubs if they will display a poster of Clyde. He needs to be the most recognised Dobermann around! Also contact your local Dobermann Club and Dobermann rescue and let them know that Clyde is missing. Agree that it's better if you can visit as many rescues as you can in person, just to make sure he isn't there. There are quite a few local companion dog shows at the moment so worth taking posters to them too if you can. Fingers crossed that Clyde is safely home very soonxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Clyde well. Good Luck Clyde x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
