- As Dexter is neutered wont be too far away. Check shed. garage, greenhouse etc in case he has been locked in. Ask neighbours to check theirs too. Put some tuna in his dish, and call him; night/erly morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put something with his scent on such as his blanket in a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave kin the garden, or hang on washinbg line if dry weather. Wkipe his scent on your garden fences, abd gates too. Put "Lost" posters through doors, and ask around. Walk around the area holding something with his scent on, and rattling some treats, as solmeone may be feeding him, and you may see him in someones garden.
Ps When I said to someone whose cat had gone awol they rely very much on scent, they didn`t have a blanket with the cats scent on so they decided to spray the family`s deodorant around the area (Cat was neutered) Apparantly the family use the same make of spray. And the cat came home after being missing for a few days - 2016-04-21 17:17 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
- Alers sent out to ME20.
