- Went looking for him again today. Thought we saw him at a distance at one point but couldn't find when went nearer so could have been something blowing in the wind. At least people are seeing the notices, so hope we get some good news soon, we miss him so much.

- Hi Janiejewel, thankyou. We still haven't heard anything. Its difficult as I'm about 1/2 an hrs drive away n have to rely on my mum taking me over. Neither of us can walk far so wouldn't be able to put fliers through doors. Two kind ladies from the rescue have put notices up for us which I'm very grateful for. Thinking about putting an add in the paper. We keep our cats In over night too.

- Hi PA Thanks for your comments. I did wonder if he did a runner. I own two cats, and know how fast they can be. I really put the comments on just to warn other people about not letting their cats out too early when moving house. I didn`t know this until I had cats myself. I have known of someone who did let their cat out too early. Luckily the cat was found Hope posters, and publicity will bring him home.
We live on a fairly quiet estate, (Cul de sac) but we keep out cats in overnight, but it`s a case of "Are the doors closed? and "Mind the cats"Last edited: 2016-04-27 09:02:02 - 2016-04-26 19:08 PA
- Hi Janiejewel I was his foster carer n had had him 11 months. He went to his forever home a week last Thursday n bolted out the door on the Monday so had only been there 3/4 days. I'm devastated n I'm trying my best to find him. He's coming back to us when we find him. His adopter doesn't think he will settle with anyone else as he's really nervous. Thanks.

- When oving house it is best to keep your cat for 10 to 14 days, becaue they will try to find their way back to their original home.
Cats hate change, and new surroundings makes them feel anxious, because 000 it is unfamiliar territory. When it`s time to explore their new surroundings let them out, but dont feed them unti they come back. When they are first let out in their new area, they dont normally stay out long, and will come back for food. They gradually stay out longer, bit by bit each day. Have them microchipped before you move to your new house; collar, and tag too with phone no. In this case he may trying to find his way back to his previous home. I would if possible poster in his previous home, and put an ad in a newspaper which has a wide coverage. Ask neighbours, and friends to put Freddie on Facebook, and share The more shares the better
Ps I had to keep my cat indoors for one month because she
had been straying for a while so I know it isn`t easy
Pss Make sure you are around when you letg the cat out for the first time. And leave the door ajar in case the cat panics
Hope Freddie is home soon. Paws xd.
