- Nami has been found by her mum Michelle ,fantastic! Gamekeeper saw her chasing his Pheasants & called Michelle , he was very helpful under the circumstances .
Michelle waited 3 hrs or so in field & Gamekeeper called her with another sighting ....eventually Nami recognized.her mum & was reunited :-)Last edited: 2017-10-21 13:41:51 by Reynard - 2017-10-19 15:41 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- Thanks Jayne x
She was out walking in the Park with owners Neighbour and ran off with lead attached, Michelle will now be out looking with her neigbour....the lead fightened her last time as it was banging behind her making her run ...but this time she knows where she lives and the park is not far from home .
Possible route she may take https://goo.gl/maps/K5sZ8zaYcaP2

- Thank you all for your help.....we are both tired and one of us has very sore paws but we are together again and that is all that matters....luckily Nami ran down a drive which was fenced in, and the property owners rung me and we were able to get her in the car....her next stop would have been the M4 so in the nick of time...most grateful for all help received :)

- tigger has updated: the retractable lead is not locked and would extend if pulled. Has scented a familiar wooded area close to home, dog walking neighbours aware, looking out for Nami, will just keep calm and let her follow if sighted
- 2016-04-28 09:41 Reynard
- tigger : I would suggest you take another friendly dog to last area seen/heard & if possible leave a car door open for her to jump in (as I understand she likes cars, possible because a safe environment),of course POSTER to get sightings & scent & leave Small amounts of tasty fresh food in the areas sighted & those she is used to.
Other good people are helping & looking for you, so keep the faith & Good luck! xLast edited: 2016-04-28 09:42:30 by Reynard - 2016-04-28 08:47 Lilybear

- I've just spoken with Nami's owner who has just registered with Doglost, lady sends a huge message of appreciation to all for their help. Lady searched & scented local to home into early hours with no trace. Lady will begin postering after work early evening. If anyone in area able to print/pop some posters up would be a great help. Thank you.

- ** Positive sighting of Nami today 27/04 at 0150pm Dorcan Way towards Greenbridge nr to roadworks with lead still attached ** Owner is having to work this evening, has left garden gate and shed open.

- Nami is a Spanish rescue dog, described as a Spanish hunting dog, whippet x spaniel looking with 'triangular ears' when stood upright. ** Photo to follow ** Owner returned home from usual walk at 0530 26/04, whilst at front door searching for house key accidentally dropped the retractable lead to the ground causing Nami to spook and run off with lead banging behind. Nami has gone missing before but has made her way home, feared the lead attached is preventing this happening this time.
