So glad to see that Dennis is safe again. He was lost by dog walkers who made great efforts to find him including being out in the early hours.
Thankfully he was found not far from where lost by someone else who had been helping with the search.
Thanks to all who reported the sightings on Brighton Dogwatch and shared for Dennis. He is said to be absolutely fine although rather dirty and tired.
I have added reunited photo (pls refresh page to see it)

Copied from fb page ..

I saw him on the road near lodge gates - a lady had stopped and was stopping traffic - one of the cars she stopped and was talking to was a police car - I assumed the police were sorting the situation which is why I didn't stop to help - maybe worth asking them if they caught himost on fb

Apparently this page has been registered by someone for the owner so not sure if they will get the advice. Hopefully it will be forwarded to them.

I'm so sorry to hear that Dennis is missing.
I have sent our Doglost advice email to you which hopefully will help with your search and catching Dennis.
Dennis is on Brighton Dogwatch and there have been a lot of people reporting sightings. They were at High Park Farm & possibly nr Upper Lodges car park. Last seen Ditchling Beacon area. However as Dennis is so nervous I would suggest you follow the Doglost advice for catching him as you will need to go slow and steady in order not to scare him off. Leave bedding or some of your unwashed clothes (socks/tshirt) where he was lost so that he has something that smells familiar to him to come back to and settle down with.
Best of luck with your search.
