First of all I'm so sorry not have posted before, but thankfully this is the first (and hopefully last) time I have used this site, so have only just been made aware of all your lovely comments. We just wanted to thank everybody who helped in our search for Florence. It was without doubt one of the worst days of our lives - inevitably you can't help fearing the worst, but we were overwhelmed by the response and support that we received, and the genuine feeling of relief from everybody when Florence was found. She had been out from 11am Friday until 7am Saturday morning, and was cold and frightened (and dirty) when we found her, but thankfully unharmed. Fortunately the lovely family who spotted her in their garden were aware of Dog Lost, so were able to get my details within a few minutes and call me - I was there in 5!! If not for that it could have been ages before anybody was alerted, by which time who knows where she would have gone. Thank you all again from Florence and Claude, our other basset who was distraught without her, and from my husband and I. You are all amazing!!

Florence has been found safely in a local garden, and she is now very happily reunited with her owners. I just spoke to the person who found her,who says it was a very tearful but of course happy reunion. I am sure her owner will be in touch asap. :)

Hi Vanessa, yes I just checked on Wallace Kennels Page and they have shared Florence, so they will be watching out for her. Have there been any sightings at all ? What time did she go missing ? I have shared to Streetlife, Brentwood, Bellas Angels, and Brentwood Dog walking Group. x
