Cheryl thank you! Do you have any more info on what dogs/ owner looked like? There have been no sittings for several days now so the searchers want to rule out other searchers and follow up. Thank you once again!
cheryl

I wasn't before but am now Runfold Eddie. If this was my dog I would not have left until he was in my arms but everyone is different.
Runfold Eddie
Poor Neo. Where I live, (Lincs)we are in our second day of rain. If it's like that where he is he will be wet through, lost, hungry and probably chilled as by now he will be living on his body fat. He must be kept in the area at Maes y Coed (sp?) Once he moves on we will be totally messed up with no idea in which direction he's gone. From experience, this is URGENT that the feeding of him is begun, ASAP. Look at the face on the poster. Are you teary?
Clairec
Come home to me and stay here
Mallory'smum
Good on you Clairec-dare I ask what will happen to this sweet dog if he is found?
Clairec
Had people going around last night until gone 12 and no new updates they are going back out again today.
DogLostSharon - Social Media Volunteer
I have shared with Doglost FB group, Public & Twitter. I hope Neo is safely back at home soon. x
Clairec
This is the information I am being told
Clairec
Coed isaf is a street in Maes Y Coed. It's right at the top. Between Maes Y Coed and Hopkinstown.
Clairec
I have contacted the lady that saw my poster and they are going out now to do best to find him and will update me either way and I will update this page I pray it's good news and they do find neo. I have told her he loves any food and as far as I know has got a collar on can we change his name on this page and Naja is not replying to anyone
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
Bumping his page to the top because of this sighting.
Runfold Eddie
There has been a NEW SIGHTING two days ago (Sat?)at a football field at Coed Istaf (?) No more info than that, sorry. but that makes him still alive on saturday. It's just awful that this poor little dog hasn't been found yet I couldnt sleep or eat if he were mine.Last edited: 2016-05-09 21:26:50 by Runfold Eddie

There not been any more sitings of neo that I have been informed about. All the posters I have put up handed out have neo on. We have got people neo knows very well looking for him daily. I not giving up on this boy. My phone is on 24 hours a day and I will respond to all calls and text messages. If any one has any info doesn't matter how little. Please contact me on 07864360491. I was down there yesterday from around 8am till late trying to find him but no joy but met a lot of people one has since messaged me to ask if he been found which sadly he has not. Naja has still not contacted me. Naja please can you respond on here or to my texts with any updates
Tispitza
Have there been any more sitings please?
Lucy Barnes
I'd strongly recommend that his previous name is added to this poster! He's been known as Neo since 8 weeks and is more likely to recognise that name when been called surely??
Poor poor boy, such a sad situation... I pray he is found safe soon.
Please please please new, previous and previous to that owners go searching for him and don't stop!
Fyreblade
Poor little man :-(( Hope he's found soon - safe & well xx
Runfold Eddie
Good, Claire. What time of day did you go? When are you going next. Yes, come on Naja, please fill us in on any information you might have. If Naja isn't going to stay in touch, then the numbers should be changed on the D/L poster. It's not fair on the searchers if they have no up to date info.
Clairec
Hello I have been down to hopkinstown, Maesycoed trehafod and not sure of the other places. I have put posters up handed posters out and spoke to a lot of different people. From the main dog walks and streets and any body I could see I stopped them. The new owner called me her name is Anne louise after I called a number off the 1 of 3 posters I saw which was in a shop and she called me back. I have had No response from the owner I sold him too Naja. Naja please can you let us know if you have found him or have any updates on neos where abouts please
Tispitza
Please, past and present owners go looking for him! Coach, taxi, train anyway you can to get there. This poor boy must be terrified!! I have given heather details of tracker dogs who may be able to help, they will give you advice over the phone, I've shared his poster wherever I can think of and to people I know in the area but pleases quit arguing and concentrate all your efforts in finding him. Claire I'm London based but working on Cardiff on Friday so will drive down to help if he's still missing and there's sitings.
Hollieberry
This poor dog my heart really goes out to him .
Clairec
I am trying my best to come down on Sunday as trying to borrow a friends car and they can't lend it to me sooner . Would people want to all meet up and arrange a search for neo. I am hoping to get there early as I been told that sightings are in morning. Please let me know my number is 07864360491.
Peggotty
is Ynysangharad Park the same as Pontypridd Park?
Clairec
He is not in Aberystwyth. My car is still not working. Neo was lost in the Pontypridd area which is nearly 3 hours from me. I have contacted the vets taxis domino pizza Tesco council and any other number I can think off. I believe Pontypridd training are aware. I have advertised on other websites and trying my best from where I am I did have a friend take me down this week. I have got friends of neo and my self looking in the area daily due to the distance from Aberystwyth. I don't know who the new owners are I'm sorry I have asked so I can help themLast edited: 2016-05-06 12:41:40 by Clairec
Peggotty
oh dear - poor boy! Some people will know I went through this a few years back with a dog I had fostered and he escaped from his new home. One thing I learned from the experience (well there was lots of things..) and from subsequent searches for other dogs - to get organised- talk to each other and try not to let the stress of the situation get in the way of that - have someone coordinate the search.
Top priorities?
Have someone on the end of the phone 24/7.
Get sightings reported - it is vital you keep track of where he is and if he should move away. That needs posters. THey will need renewing as people take them down. They need dates on if you do another lot - if people see old ones they assume he must have already been found. As eddie says - you need to keep in contact with anyone and everyone who might be out there and will see and maybe even help catch him.

Get them to put the contact number in their mobiles - I stood and watched people do that -so they don't have to go home to get it, or worse, forget when they get home (becasue other people just don't care as much as dog folk do)
And contact all those people Eddie mentions below - especially dog walkers.
Is he entire or neutered? A bitch in full season might attract him perhaps?

Mallory'smum
Please can everybody concentrate on the poor dog. This is no time for arguing. He looks a lovely boy and needs to get back to whichever place he calls home at this point in time. I do feel so sorry for him.
Runfold Eddie
Are all the vets and kennels, dog businesses, training classes, dog walkers, pet taxis etc., aware of this dogs situation? Ponypridd should be drowning in posters! Is it? Why not?! The clever people that lost him presumably live there, they should be doing this. Naja, get them out there and if you live close or even if you don't, you must take some responsibility for this situation. Please get leaflets done and deliver them house to house all around where he's been seen. He will be caught, but only if you put in effort and as far as I can see, it only seems to be a couple of German Spitz enthusiasts, neither of which live in the area. Claire, surely your car is fixed by now? If not, however will you get to the show at Stoneleigh tomorrow. Come on please, bodies on the ground are needed. I'm wheelchair and housebound and live in Lincolnshire, all I can do is nag you, but I shouldn't need to. Have some empathy for this puppy, please.

I shall add, all searches must be organised. A looks there. B looks in that area C looks at that place etc etc.

Claire, would you like to publicly talk about the state of the dog when you handed him over to me? Or the fact that you didn't say anything about wanted to be contacted, or that you clearly weren't a suitable home for him to go back to? You didn't even leave me the contact information for the breeder. So can we please concentrate on getting him back, I mean, if you have time to get off your high horse and actually look for him with the rest of us.
Clairec
Hi Eddie I rehomed him to Naja. And advised if to be rehomed was to contact myself or the breeder this was not done. I only found out when Linda contacted me to say as I not on Facebook. Naja was aware not to let neo off the lead as I never had. I have only found out today that he has since been sold and it the new owner that have lost him. I have had people I know and he knows searching the area today for him as they have since he went missing
Runfold Eddie
Thank you Skywalker. I think I know Ray (dog obedience?) I shall ensure Lynda reads this. Is that right, this dog has had 3 homes in 2months??? Clairec, Naja and Naja's friend. How did he get lost? Don't tell me they let him off lead only having had him a few hours?Last edited: 2016-05-05 12:58:09 by Runfold Eddie

He had been called Tjalfe for 2 months, and responded really well to his name, hence I put up that name. Claire added a comment that he used to be called Neo, and we have told anyone looking for him / on facebook / everywhere that he also responds to Neo. He was not with me any longer because he was getting in fights with my other girl, so that's how he ended up in Pontypridd. I don't live or work there, but am there searching any chance I get. Claire lives miles and miles away. And the people that lost him or working around the clock to get him back safe. We all love this dog, and just want to see him safe. Naja has owned neo for over 2 months and she changed his name. I not aware of a new owner she has told me it was friends that he went missing from. I have been down to the area my car is broken and not safe to drive but got someone who was able to take me. We are nearly 3 hours away I have contacted the radio station, spoke with taxi drivers and domino pizza. Some friends that neo knows have been out looking for him daily. I know Linda has been with one of her dogs that he knows. I want him home safe.
Skywalker99
Contact ray Dedicoat (www.raydedicoat.com, I think, just google him), for advice on how to catch dogs....not sure if he could lend you a trap.

I live in East Anglia and we have our own branch of D/L on Fb. Helen (Jermy) does a great job. Does S Wales have a branch on FB too?Last edited: 2016-05-05 01:09:00 by Runfold Eddie

The owner that lost this dog had only had him about 24hours. He doesn't know his new name!! His name was NEO Please change it on the poster. DOG LOST The searchers are in urgent need of a trap and some help. It would also help if the previous owner came and gave a hand too! Can she send some bedding that Neo or her other dogs have had so at least this poor dog has a chance. He has been seen and recently, but is scared stiff. So, previous owner, please think of this dog that you sold, put yourself out and help him, please?
Skywalker99
have you left stuff with his/your scent on it near where spotted (if safe to do so).
NajaF
Thank you! He's still out there - seems to be spotted generally in the Maesycoed area, but runs away, hence no one has been able to pick him up. We are there at all times, but no luck. He is terrified by now, and seems to avoid all people. Thank you for all your help!
