- SHE IS HOME! <3
I cannot thankyou enough, we are so elated, relieved, overjoyed and every other emotion going!
She was spotted by an incredible lady & her spaniel who sat at a distance until I was able to get over (ironically I was getting more posters printed!)
After a brief plan, I borrowed her dog and tuna, and managed to get within approx 50m of her, she then looked as if she was going to bolt, her nose twitching she decided to be incredibly brave and come over, where she ate the tuna (and nearly the bag!) it was here that I could put a slip lead on and she was caught! We even got a tail wag, almost as if she was saying 'I've been looking for you, where have you been - silly humans!' She's been to the vets and has been given a clean bill of health - apart from her raw paws from possibly suddenly stopping?
She's now asleep on mums bed, she's exhausted but hopefully happy to be home!
Thankyou all again, you made the impossible possible and we are just overwhelmed to have her back! You've all restored my faith in humanity! Last edited: 2016-05-05 14:32:44 by anna94 - 2016-05-05 14:05 Rose

- So pleased there has been sightings of Alice, I cannot stress enough that if you do see Alice please contact the owner immediately so the owner can get to the area.
Bumping because of these sightings, so hoping today Alice will be back home x
- 2016-05-05 09:16 Rose
- Its a shame that people are stopping and trying to catch her as she will only run away and she needs to be kept in one place. Hopefully she was running towards Tesco where she has been seen before. Anna can you get to the field by Tesco and leave something of hers there as its likely she will go back. Everything xd today she will be found x
- 2016-05-05 08:56 BaileyP
- SIGHTED TODAY! (THURSDAY)!
Alice has been sighted several times this morning with around five calls from the public between 7.15 am and 7.39 am. She was heading from Rod Bridge back to Sudbury. People stopped to try to catch her and she ran off into a field heading either towards Bury or Tescos. We've also had a map PDF sent with the precise location of one of the sightings - on the A134.
Alice looks very weak and is limping. If anyone is in the area today please stick up posters.
I've advised the owner to take lots of high value food with her and if she sees Alice to sit with her back to her and throw the food.
Local papers have been contacted online - will follow up with a call later. Last edited: 2016-05-05 09:12:36 by BaileyP - 2016-05-05 06:46 Abe babe
- I've just seen a post on Fb, a video of Sudbury from the air taken by a quadcopter drone...fab clear images of below. I've messaged him to ask about searching for Alice but don't know when he'll see it as I'm not a member (yet) of the Fb group Sudbury, Suffolk UK (my Member request is still pending). If Alice's family are members of that group they could easily contact him: Jon Morris.

- So sorry there have been no sightings today Anna, but like you say hopefully with more people aware of Alice you will get the phone calls.
Fingers crossed for you all x - 2016-05-04 21:24 anna94
- Good evening, a sad day with no sightings, however on a positive note everyone who has helped you have been so kind, supportive and generous; every new person told/ poster put up is a new chance of Alice being sighted and being brought home :)
Tomorrow is another day, the best things are always worth waiting for! - 2016-05-04 18:16 Rose
- As she has been seen at the Croft is it worth leaving something of hers or yours there and maybe she will stay? x

- One of our Dog Lost helpers has been out this morning chatting to people and handing out posters.
- 2016-05-04 09:47 Patlucky
- I so wish I was nearer.
Maybe if she stays in the area I believe very close to home now.
Can you maybe loan a trap.?
Rescue dogs normally stay in the same area.
Rescues are very clever dogs.
Good luck Anna thinking about you. - 2016-05-04 09:16 BaileyP
- No sightings of Alice overnight.
We desperately need some helpers in the Sudbury/Long Melford area to help put up posters. Alice is going to be very tricky to catch so we need to have as many sightings as possible to try to see where she is going. PLEASE - if you are in the area - can you help by printing out and putting up her poster. Thank you. We are worried sick about her - our worst nightmare come true for one of our rescue's dogs. :(
Just want to ask also for more shares too please 2077 people have viewed this and only 177 FB shares. Please share - it's our best chance of getting her back. Last edited: 2016-05-04 09:16:48 by BaileyP - 2016-05-04 07:23 Patlucky

- 2016-05-03 18:10 anna94
- Been out since half 9. Actually managed to see Alice, looking very content sunbathing in a secluded field. However she darted and heading towards tesco which was the last sighting off her.
Lots of posters/ leaflets put up/ handed out so fingers crossed someone will make a sighting. Mum is off out tonight armed with pichards (I think she'll come to mum or at least stand a better chance than I did as it'll be quieter, cooler and scents will be more obvious) Thankyou so much for all of your help, we're so grateful - 2016-05-03 16:08 Patlucky
- Come home Alice your mum wants to see you.
