- These kennels have a facebook page. I would be serioulsy tempted to post Narla's details as a comment on every post they have made, and on the posts to page by other people...just might reach someone. Appalling that the kennels keep no paperwork or check potential new owners. I would also contact the press with a 'kennels gave away my dog' story...but definitely get her details on their facebook page, her new owners may follow it.

- Crossposted.****WHAT HAPPENED TO NARLA****
******** IMPORTANT TO SHARE SHALL SHARE!! *********
"since narla escaped and I lost her in backs of where we live, I've come to learn that she went into a garden scratched at some body's door and they let her into their home, I searched but could not find her, this is why!
Anyway the people who took her in rang the dog warden, I've come to learn, that paticular day there were no dog wardens avaliable so the council had given ACORN KENNELS the duty of collecting her.
acorn kennels have never given any hint to them ever collecting narla, even after me questioning if they had rehomed her to tell me, so at least Id known what had come to this, the kennels themselves told me that, if they had rehomed her they wouldn't know as they don't keep any paperwork. I then questioned, well if they were to rehome her surely vet checking peoples homes, would require some kind of written paperwork, to which they informed me, THEY DO NOT VET CHECK POTENTIAL NEW OWNERS OR HOMES!!
I have no clue where she is or if she's happy and cared for, and if these kennels neglect to check people are suitable my baby could be in some breeding farm and ill treated, rather than with me and my children at home. I just need to know that she being taken care of, so if anybody has rehomed a FEMALE BORDER TERRIER from ACORN KENNELS WITCHURCH, Since the 29TH APRIL 2016 or knows somebody who has please let me know she's ok, miss my baby so much and cannot rest knowing those kennels fail to make sure she's taken care of, thanks to all who read and share." - 2016-06-07 23:43 Doglover

- Sorry to see that NARLA is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (99817)

- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
