So pleased this turned out okay for you. We were contacted by the lady who initially tried to catch her. Lovely to know she is safe. Jennyx

so happy to read this, you stopped us yesterday asking if we had seen her, we were in the old 'classic car' live locally so quickly spread the news and went home and grabbed a spare dog lead ... just in case ... so glad for you all that she is home safe, I really can't imagine going through this, I would be beside myself xxx

Brilliant news! I do hope Ronnie is ok but I'm sure with all the tlc her family gives her she will soon recover from her sore paws. Macaylla did a lot to find Ronnie and even had a light aircraft go up searching for her earlier today. There's a lovely video from Macaylla's son thanking everyone who helped with the search..really sweet of him!
Welcome home Ronnie :)

Drove up A22 this morning from Boship to Uckfield and back a while later. No sightings.Noticed boot fairs which may have scared Ronnie if she had been about.Very hot so imagine she is lying low. There is so much open countryside she could be anywhere.I notified mobile home park near BP station to keep an eye out.She could make is as far as Raystede animal rescue if she hears the dogs barking. So much traffic about, very worrying.

I will be cycling all round this area (Horam, Chiddingly, Ripe) this morning so will keep any eye open for Ronnie - will take a lead and some dog treats just in case. X

Drove up through Hellingly, Boship Roundabout A22 to Whitesmith this afternoon to voluntary job and back down again this evening, going down A22 towards Polegate. Kept eyes peeled, but sadly no sightings..
fingers crossed .. x

Thanks for the update Macaylla. Good to hear of other sightings even though Ronnie is still on the roads. At least that means that she is not too badly injured. Could you clarify if that is the BP garage Golden Cross please?
Please follow the Doglost advice re 'mapping' so that you can keep a record of where and when she is/was. This will help you work out if she is staying in the same places or if she is moving away to others.

Make sure you have lots and lots of posters in these and surrounding areas as this is how you will get more sightings. If you can print some small posters then get some help and post them through letterboxes of the houses where Ronnie was seen to go. She may rest up in someone's gardens and if they have a poster they will be able to call you. She may do this when she is hot and then come out in the cooler part of the day (late evening/early hours)
Stay safe Ronnie.

Poor girl I hope she is soon brought to safety .

I saw her twice today. First time at 9.30 between metamorphosis and boship roundabout running down the path and into some bodies back garden. Second time was around 2 pm the dog had run further up the road and was about half a mile away from the Bp garage near the Lewes turnoff. It was running very fast down the pavement.

Have emailed owner to alert her of the sightings.

I saw her Thursday 11.35am running alongside the A22 at Gleneagles from the Wickes roundabout towards the Boship, really hope she is found safe and well soon xx

I may have seen Ronnie earlier this evening. Turning into Sussex Avenue from Western Road. I thought the dog I saw might have been a little taller but I'm sure it had a thick lethaer collar like yours. I'm sorry that I did not get this alert until now, or that I didn't stop - but loose dogs are sadly not that uncommon here. I will go now and have a walk around the block. but I'm going away in the morning so will not be able to do much more.

Thanks Alison.
I have sent our Doglost email advice and sent out some tweets to local area.
Owner has sd that people have seen Ronnie on the roads in Horam and in little London and the last sighting was Thursday night near the Boship, Hellingly area.

Macaylla: Please get as many posters out in the area as soon as possible as this is the way that you will get sightings of Ronnie (you can print them directly fm the poster page on here) Anywhere and everywhere that a lot of people will see them.
Let's hope Ronnie stays safe and is found soon.
I would also suggest that you contact the Police and Highways Depts to make sure that they are aware of Ronnie being missing in the area.
